I wanted to heat food and the front desk helped me out by putting a microwave in my room! I received the concierge text service and was quite impressed. I inquired about a TV Guide and the next time I turned the TV on there was one. Thanks for all your help!!

We stayed one night here while travelling across Canada with our trailer. We were allowed to park our 20 ft trailer and truck right in front of the hotel in the entrance area which was very nice considering we took up most of the space. The room, which was main floor because we requested a pet-friendly room, was pleasant enough. The bathroom has a full glass partition separating it from the bedroom. There is a screen covering this which has been installed backwards so you can see into the bathroom from the bedroom and you can’t see the bedroom while in the bathroom. It’s meant to be the other way around. As my husband always says, doesn’t anybody ever check anything? The bed is comfortable enough, the sheets are very thin and average quality. The bed pillows are poor. The bathroom sink stopper doesn’t work well and the water drains very slowly. The bar soap is very mucky when wet and sticks to the plastic soap dish like glue. Both my husband and I had to dig our fingernails into the bar of soap to release it. Really frustrating and annoying. What really bothered me is on the hotel website it says there are complimentary water, soft drinks and snacks provided in the room. Nope. Nothing. I called the front desk and was told they no longer provide them. So why does their website still say they do? The website also says the rooms have upscale Molton Brown bath products. Nope. Just cheap generic products. When I asked the front desk about them I was told they no longer provide them. So why does their website still say it does? This is misleading, false advertising and they need to correct the information they have on their website. It makes you wonder what else on their website isn't true. Do they really thoroughly clean and sanitize surfaces in the rooms? Do they really leave 72 hours between guests before filling each room? It says so on their website but how can we be sure? We had dinner on the patio at Cibos which is, I think, part of the hotel. The food was average and we wouldn't bother eating there again. The staff here are pleasant and helpful and it is a reasonably nice 3 star hotel, fine for a one-night stopover. It’s not nearly as luxurious as they bill themselves.
