It's was a very hot summer day. Our apartment has no air conditioning. We stayed for one night at the Radisson just to sleep in air-conditioned room. The hotel is close to bus stops, restaurants, library, MTS Centre, and malls. Front desk is helpful and polite. The bed was comfortable. Room was cozily decorated with dark wood furniture. The thing with dark wood furniture is it doesn't hide dust. The room was quite dusty. The room may have been empty for a long time because of the Covid times. Otherwise, we were satisfied with our stay.
I stayed at this hotel for 1 night to see the Jets play the Capitals (My favorite team). The hotel was nice, outside and inside, big lobby with a Starbucks as well. Disappointed it doesn't have a pool but not a huge seller. The skywalk entrance from the hotel to BellMTS Place was the kicker for me. As it was quite chilly outside, the warmth was comforting. Check in was easy as was check out. The lady working the front desk when I arrived was great and pleasant (I don't remember her name though) even upgraded my reservation from a queen to a king. I didn't have an issue with noise at all. The only issue I had and why it doesn't get the 5/5 is the room was very dusty (more so the countertops were dusted very well) upon arrival, I made sure to make a note to front desk to pass on otherwise the room was perfect. If the Caps roll through next year, I would definitely stay at that hotel again.…
We stayed at the Radisson Downtown while we were in Winnipeg to watch a Jets game. The biggest plus is that the hotel is right next to the arena. In fact, other than a very short walk through a part of the parking garage, you can go from the hotel to the arena without having to go outside. Plus, the security entering the rink from that location was excellent, not even anyone in line. Back to the hotel...we were fortunate and had a room on the 28th (top) floor. The room was well appointed and the view out the window was spectacular. The room was comfortable and quiet, which is what you want from any hotel room. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The only real drawback to the property is that the lobby is not terribly accommodating. Still, the price was reasonable and the stay was pleasant. We would absolutely stay there again if back in town.…
Radisson hotel Winnipeg is a very nice place to stay. Staff were very helpful and couteous. Food was good but could have more restaurant options on site. Room attendants are very helpful as well. Request something once and it just happens automatic for the rest of your stay.
When we checked in we found it very hard to understand the person checking us in. He did however let us know that we should be back in the hotel by 9:30 pm, because it was a bad area. The room had no curtains, and the art had been taken off the wall, the hangers were still in place, there was no luggage rack, the ceiling in the bathroom had something growing on it, and the room had a distinct urine smell. The room overall seemed small and cramped. There is no pool or hot tub. The shuttle was nice but not very convenient. It has to be booked in advance and we were told to call 15 minutes before we were ready to be picked up only to be told that it would not be available to pick us up for another 3 to 4 hours. We were not informed of a free bus to and from the Forks area, or that they have an Uber like service called Tappcar, all of that would have been nice to be informed of upon check in which would have made the shuttle more tolerable.…
