Stayed at the Churchill Hotel for a few nights while travelling with Natural Habitat on a polar bear tour. We were previously warned that the accommodation was basic, but I thought the rooms were spacious, warm and very comfortable. It has been recently renovated so everything is very clean and new. The bedside lamp has plug sockets and USB ports... More

Just got back from Polar Bear tours and stayed here 2 nights. Everyone was so accommodating and informative. I think it was the owner's dad that picked us up at the airport. Really nice guy with cool stories. Rooms have been newly renovated with pretty new shower and fluffy towels. Frig and coffee pot in the room. The common area/kitchen... More

I stayed at the hotel for a few days as part of a Natural Habitat Tour to see the Polar Bears. The hotel was warm, comfortable with two large beds in the room. Pleasant bathroom with shower. There was a coffee machine in the room but I used the tea/coffee making facility in the entrance to the hotel. I had... More

Traveling with Natural Habitat, we stayed at the Churchill Motel for 3 nights 11/11 to 11/14. The room was fine although you need to bring a power strip if you want to charge multiple items (camera batteries and phone, etc.) The bathroom appeared to be newly renovated and spotless towels were thick and sparkling. Coffee appears to be available 24/7.... More

We had low expectations for this Motel but we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed all last week with the Natural Habitat Polar Bear tour and had no choice in the lodging selection. Our room (17) faced the street and we had no issues with noise but had a nice view of the little town's activities. The room was very clean... More

Made my reservations to see the Polar Bears, and hopefully the northern lights, on January 14, 2015, 10 months before we were schedule to start our tour. So you would think that the management at the Churchill Motel would know that I was coming. Evidently not, because when arriving, I had to wait about 45 minutes to get into my... More

This Motel was clean and adequate for our visit. We had a slight problem regarding the shower, to which Terri contacted the owner John, who came promptly and replaced a part. Thankyou Terri. The room had a double bed, tv, coffee making facilities, shower/ bath, toilet. Our room was clean and cleaned each day and toiletries, towels replaced when required.... More

We stayed at this motel during a Natural Habitat polar bear tour. The room was basic, which for me means clean and quiet. This is not luxurious but we were there for the polar bear tour, not the room. The first night it was a little cold even though we turned up the heat but when we mentioned it the... More

“Try and get a room between the main entry and next artic entry (from left to right when facing the front of the building). This will help in distance to carry bags/gear as well is provide a buffer from the cold air when the doors are opened. Remember to shut the door behind you, no one wants polar bears wandering the halls.”
