An amazing experience to stay in a hotel that offers all inclusive outdoor activities such as biking/kayaking/canoeing/paddle boarding. Shuttle bus is provided for drop off and pick up at Whistler Village at your own convenience. Spacious and well laid out room, and accommodation that goes above and beyond. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you to all wonderful and friendly staff!

This is a wonderful hotel on Nita Lake. Large rooms, a balcony overlooking the lake, great food. Short staffed (like everywhere in Whistler right now) but they’re making it work. I’d echo the comments of Jaron M on July 4th that there seems to be a complete lack of a COVID plan. There was plexiglass at the check in counter, and that’s it. No signage anywhere reminding guests of the Phase 3 recommendations to continue wearing masks if not fully vaccinated. Given the large number of out of province guests, and the high level of confusion generally about Phase 3 recommendations, this seems like the bare minimum that could be done. In 2 days we saw 2 guests wearing masks and no staff wearing masks. Given the lack of signage it was difficult to feel reassured that everyone was aware of the recommendations and if not wearing a mask was fully vaccinated. Disappointing to see that nothing has changed since July 4th. Overall a fantastic place and we’ll be back, but it would be nice to see some even minimal effort to protect guests and follow the provincial guidelines.

We stayed for 3 nights in a studio suite and could not have been happier. The staff were incredibly friendly, our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The lodge was exceptionally pet friendly and this truly made our holiday. Our dog was in heaven, loving the nearby dog park, lake swimming, and lakeside walks. As foodies with admittedly high standards, we were so impressed by the quality of food offered at the restaurants and cafe. Having such great in-house options added to our sense of total relaxation, as we could happily move from paddle boarding on the lake to enjoying happy hour on the patio. A trip to the spa is also a must! We enjoyed massages and the tranquil setting of the rooftop patio and hot tubs. We will most definitely make Nita Lake Lodge our go-to getaway spot for years to come.

We came to Nita Lake on July 1st, the first day of phase 3 in BC. The public health order clearly states masks are recommended indoors except when fully vaccinated. I guess almost every person who works here and almost every guest was fully vaccinated, because of about 30-40 staff members we interacted with only 3 wore masks. This includes the serving and bar staff, and hostess who were not behind plexi-glass, etc. It’s fully possible due to Whistler having that outbreak that most staff were at least partially vaccinated, but fully seems like a stretch. Now—I’m not super paranoid, and the Heath order *was* lifted so I did expect some maskless folks—and I like to believe most people do care about one another’s health, but the sheer numbers of maskless staff was a bit surprising. This alone wasn't the main issue. The real issue was the signage on site, and website were out of date and still reflected the phase 1 or 2 rules, which gave a sense of confusion. There was no messaging from check-in staff regarding the updated mask policy, and it made us feel like there wasn’t one. To put this in perspective—we went to another hotel and they had very clear signage recommending masks if you’re not vaccinated, and most staff members wore masks. The signage alone made us feel a lot more comfortable. We didn’t feel like weirdos for wearing masks like we did at Nita lake. Pretty room, friendly staff, good price, good food—but I think the hotel needs to clearly say on their website and in their check-in what the policy for phase 3 is. We would have felt better just knowing they had a policy. Cheers

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback from your recent visit to Nita Lake Lodge. We appreciate your observations of the Lodge's transition into phase 3, and are grateful for you highlighting to us where you see an opportunity for our development. You are absolutely right; the Whistler community was swiftly enrolled into the vaccination program given the sheer number of visitors that we welcomed into our community and businesses. We implore our team and guests to use their best judgement given that masks are recommended in public, indoor settings for all people 12 and older, who are not yet fully vaccinated. We are following all the health and safety protocols designed to keep people safe and we are supporting and encouraging all of our employees to get vaccinated. Because of privacy concerns, I cannot share personal health information of our staff but we are advising the team to carry masks at all times, should a guest voice that they would prefer the team member to be masked. We certainly appreciate your feedback, and this has been shared on with our General Manager for their consideration. Thank you again for your review, Sincerely, Samantha R. Guest Relations Manager.
