We enjoyed a first time trip to Whister to celebrate our anniversary, the location, accommodation and ambience where delightful. I want to thank the amazingly attentive staff who made our trip so special with a special thanks to the valet tea who were so helpful when we experienced issues with our hire car. We definitely recommend the balcony breakfast which was fantastic.

Hotel's Favorite
It's been almost 10 years since we last stayed at the Four Seasons Whistler and the hotel is as good as ever. We are a family of 5 and initially booked two mountain view rooms but were upgraded to two Executive Suites. The rooms were fantastic and appear to have been renovated fairly recently. Both rooms had kind bedroom with massive bathrooms together with a living room, balcony and a 3/4 bath--so, between the 2 rooms, we have 4 bathrooms, two king beds, two pull out sofas and two balconies overlooking the courtyard. We received twice daily housekeeping which was great and the rooms and hotel were spotless. We had breakfast each day and the food was great. During the summer the hotel offers outdoor seating which was quite nice. We had dinner twice in the more casual restaurant which was very good and one dinner at SideCut--the hotel's steak house which was extraordinary. Service at the hotel was top notch from the valets, to check-in, to all of the staff in the restaurant. The pool was nice and never crowded. We did not use the spa but it looked to be very nice. We really like the quieter location of the hotel in the Upper Village--especially given that the hotel is an easy 10 min. walk to the main village or a quick shuttle ride--although the hotel car was often available to drive us should we prefer to drive and not want to wait for the shuttle. This was our first visit to Whistler in the summer and we loved it--there is so much to do from mountain biking, hiking, ATV riding, rafting, shopping, golfing and more. Overall, we could not fault our stay at the Four Seasons and highly recommend it as your base in Whistler--whether you are there as a family, as we were, or as a couple of even for business. Well done!

My family and I visited the Four Seasons in Whistler during our very first visit to Canada this summer. We had been looking forward to our stay as it was for a special occasion and part of a trip of a lifetime. There were a couple of things which weren't quite as I had expected, but I had a chat with Evan Pazur, the Front Desk Manager, who managed to iron out the problems and ensured that the rest of our stay was more than we could have hoped for. Our room was beautifully presented and the pool area was very welcoming - Ben - one of the British pool attendants was exceptional in terms of friendliness and service levels. We will definitely be visiting again - Evan and his team should be rewarded for all of their efforts to make our stay as enjoyable as it truly was. Thanks again.

What an amazing weekend in Whistler at @fswhistler ! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and our time there. The pool was amazing, service was wonderful everywhere, @braidwoodtavern was delicious for lunch and the location is perfect! We loved walking through the upper village and around Lost Lake. Easy walk to the main village as well. Great service and very quick valet!

My fourth stay at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler and each trip just adds to my belief that this is one of the best hotels I've stayed at across hotels in over 40 countries. I continue to be WOW'd by the attention to detail and incredible customer service.... from Gus, Front Desk extraordinaire (supported by Alecks and Evan, Front Desk Managers) to the exceptional Carol in Room Service. These people took a genuine interest in my well-being and satisfaction. But don't just take my word for it... let me tell you about the day on this trip that 5 well-travelled but random strangers were all enjoying a pre-dinner Four Seasons hot tub when one person mentioned they spent the previous night at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and which did we all think was the better hotel... the Four Seasons or Chateau Whistler? It was a unanimous decision that - hands down - the Four Seasons was the far superior hotel.... one individual even called it "Exquisite". We had all tried the Chateau (once!) but were repeat visitors to the Four Seasons. The rooms are bigger and better with outstanding customer service and amenities. (Full disclosure it was agreed that the pub ambience at the CW is better but stay at the Four Seasons and walk over to their pub and have the best of both worlds.)

Of course everything here is nothing short of fantastic. But is is truly *special*? Unique? One of a kind? I'm not so convinced. For this price point, of course the rooms are great, the hotel is great but everything just seems a fancier version of regular hotels I've stayed at some truly magical places across the globe that will stay in my memories forever and this one is not one of them. There are 2 stand outs in this hotel: the amazing breakfast and the convenience of the ski equipment drop-off tent right near the entrance of the Whistler slopes. Aside from that, there is nothing spectacular, charming or special about it. i would recommend splurging on something else if you're thinking of a special occasion. If you're rich and you don't care what the architecture of the hotel looks like, as long as it's "fancy" then this is just another luxury hotel in the long line of forgettable luxury hotels you will stay in.

I stayed here with my son during Easter week. While the resort itself is gorgeous and luxurious, the service was quite subpar, especially for a Four Seasons. See below email I sent to management. we stayed at the resort last night, and while the place itself is nice and comfortable, there were several Issues we encountered, which dampened our experience: - room not ready at 4 (taken care of with the $50 credit and was acknowledged by front desk without us needing to bring it up) - subpar experience at Braidwood. Initially, I ordered a Braidwood Hot Toddy. Our server came back a few mins later saying they couldnt do hot drinks anymore but then proceeded to give me options like an Irish Coffee or a regular hot toddy, which I ended up getting. When I got the bill, they charged me for the Braidwood version, which was more expensive, until I brought it up, after which they revised the bill. I also ordered the mussels for dinner. After a few mins she came back to say that that, too, was not available. - s’mores service - this was what most the most impact on our experience. I didn’t even know there was s’mores offered until I saw a family by the fire pit enjoying them. My son absolutely loves s’mores and seeks it every time we stay at a hotel that offers it. Neither the front desk or the brochure mentioned this as we checked in. By the time we went downstairs to the lobby, they said they stopped service but suggested we go to Braidwood to ask. We went down to Braidwood and the front desk girl said they ran out. My son was so disappointed (so was I) and it absolutely affected the mood for the whole night. We checked in early enough where if we were at least told, we could have tried to get there before it ran out. We already had to wait in the lobby for our room that was late; we could have just gone down and gotten s’mores i stead. We know we could have gotten s’mores because we literally just mossed the last batch by 2 mins, when another family picked up the last set at Braidwood. While I travel a lot and stay at nice places, I tend to prefer smaller boutique hotels over chains such as the Four Seasons. It’s because of my son that I stay at your hotels so when he’s disappointed because of subpar service, that is truly disappointing to me. I realize that most of the staff in ski towns are kids who arent as well-experienced as in other places but we just stayed at another hotel in the village right before this and did not experience the type of amateur ignorance as the novice staff at the Whistler property showed (not up to par with other FS properties we have stayed at).
