This is my goto place to stay at. The rooms are very clean and big! It feels homey and everyone is friendly. I would recommend this place for sure. Close to the ski lifts and and shops/restaurants. If you stay on the top level you get an amazing view too! I found it quiet for our nights there.
I have great experience in this hotel, partly it’s non peak season. Nevertheless, all the crew are very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the room is great. It was not easy to find the hotel at first, I had to ask around. One big wowed for me is the sustainability (paperless check-in, recycling bag in the room and activities/information listed on TV). Keep it up.
Had a great time at the Sundial. The room was great and the staff were exceptional. Shout out to Rach C for the extra care and excellent dining recommendations! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Whistler
An amazing weekend at the Sundial! Our room was amazing and the staff was wonderful. Thank you so such to Luke and Holly on the valet, Chris and Jacob at the front desk and Cali in house keeping! You all helped to make our stay wonderful!
I appreciate there is limited control over other venues playing loud music but it was rather disturbing for myself and children. The room was otherwise reasonably comfortable and facilities/amenities were adequate. Front desk staff wee pleasant to interact with.
Stayed over a weekend in a 2 bedroom mountain view suite (we were fortunate enough to get a complimentary upgrade from a 1 bedroom suite 😀). Huge suite with a spectacular view and the staff were so friendly ! We stayed 2 yrs ago and the staff were super friendly and helpful then too:). This hotel is very well situated at the end of the stroll, right at the base of Whistler mountain, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. Loved our stay - SO relaxing! Hope to go back again soon😀
Always a warm welcome and gorgeous views of ski hills and valleys, right from our hot tub ! Everything we needed was in the suite.very clean and well furnished. This is our home away from home!! The best place for our anniversary. See you on our33rd!!😊
I had a fantastic stay at the Sundial from October 31 to November 15, 2022. My room was nice and clean, well stocked and made for and extremely comfortable stay! So much so that I extended my stay 4 times. Holly was a wonderful first point of contact the moment I pulled into the valet/check in parking, and Roxy made check in a breeze! She also was able to facilitate my request to be placed on a higher floor as to be further away from the nightlife noise. It should be noted that being located in the heart of the village there is definitely some extra noise at night, but it more than makes up for that in convenience to everything! I had zero issue with this as I fully understood where I would be staying, just making this comment for anyone who may not be aware. Roxy, Jacob and Emily were all wonderful in helping me to extend my stay all 4 times and we're even able to keep me in the same room! I can't say enough how much I appreciated this, thank you! Caris was always very helpful with any of my small requests from the front desk, and Kayne came to the rescue the one night I lost my key card and didn't get back to the hotel until well after midnight (the hotel is key card access only from 12am to 730am!). Luke, Chris and Holly were always very friendly and acknowledging everytime I left and returned out the front door. It made for a very welcoming environment! In summary, the Sundial is a fantastic place to stay if you want to be right where the action is and walking distance to pretty much everything Whistler has to offer!…
First time staying at the sundial for a local staycation. Front desk staff were lovely , parking that fits a big truck and it’s a great location (although prepare to hear the party at the long horn well into the night). Our “Premium 2 bedroom Mountain View Suite” had a great view, fully stocked kitchen, lots of space and super comfy beds. Sadly this room really needs a good deep clean, fresh paint and some modernization / updating or Reno’s . It shows a lot of wear and tear , is pretty dated, carpets were stained / dirty, room was dark with poor lighting, black out curtains didn’t close, walls were a horrible colour and in need of a fresh coat of paint etc. Pretty beaten up from many ski vacationers. Unfortunately for the price this room is during peak season I would not choose to stay here again as there are more well maintained / updated accommodations to choose from in Whistler at this price point. However If you are looking for space for a family (sleeps 6) with a full kitchen and easy access to the gondola but aren’t worried about other amenities or a cleaner , more modern / refreshed room, then this would be a great rental for you.…
We stayed here in 2021, and put it down as our first hotel of choice for our 2022 Canadian Road Trip. Everything is on the mo et about the property. Right next to gondola and shops, with plenty of eateries near by. Hiking trails are also easy to find front the fro t door. Finally the people. From the moment you arrive they go out of their way to ensure you stay us memorable. Thank you to them all.
