This was a great find - a great location, spacious and comfortable accommodation and very friendly staff. Would definitely book again! It's located within a 5 (or less) minute walk to the base of the slopes but is just behind the hotels which are immediately around the base area. For us, this was perfect because it was a quieter location (base station is fantastic for grabbing a drink at one of it's 3 main bars with great music in all 3, but can be more noisy if you're staying just above them). There is direct easy street access to the locker rooms as well as a very nice small gym and Jacuzzi. The rooms are very spacious and we've heard that other hotel rooms are much smaller so it was very comfortable and allowed us to spread out as well as get together on an evening with a pizza and some beers. We were in a mezzanine suite with very comfortable beds and a kitchenette with lounge and dining table downstairs. This was very handy and would highly recommend it. There is also a fab cafe just behind the hotel which was the perfect spot for breakfast (they make the best crepes and waffles!!) and the hotel also has a nice gym and jacuzzi which unfortunately we didn't get to use because there was too much else going on. Overall, would recommend this accommodation for its location and comfort.

5 star. Excellent accommodations, helpful and delightful staff. Centrally located in Whistler Village. Steps to all shopping, restaurants, liquor store, small grocery store. Minutes to both Whistler and Blackcomb lifts. Beside The Keg.

Mixed feelings. We booked a twin room adjoining to a suite. We are a family of 4. The suite has a dining table that converts to a drop down double bed, or a sofa that converts to 2 single beds. We were put in Powder Lodge (across road from main building and separate building to the outside pool). I feel that we put up with some below average facilities and way too much noise from rooms above, for the huge advantage of being so close to the pedestrian village and ski lifts. The suite was useful as we could cater breakfast for the kids each morning, we put them in there on the sofa singles and we took one of the beds in the twin room. The suite 1033 had a working radiator, and a decent bathroom. The twin room 1032 had no heating that worked, and although the staff got it working for one day, it didn’t work again so instead I asked for a plug in heater, which was provided. This helped take the chill off. The rooms were not the cleanest, but okay. They were roomy enough. We just seemed to be in a noisy position with regards to rooms above and elevator noise and hot tub noise and lobby noise! The noise from above was extremely distracting, sometimes between 8/9.30pm, sometimes 1.30/3.00am, sometimes 5.30/7.00 am with the sound of constant walking about and almost like furniture being moved above us. Bring ear plugs, pyjamas, slippers and focus on the fabulous location. Let me know if you want to know anything specific.

Location is great. Access to all the necessities. A tad bit outdated. Clean rooms. Staff is great. I like how the room is upstairs and living room is downstairs. The check in and out process was an easy smooth process.

This is our fourth time staying at Whistler Village Inn, this year for 14 nights. The hotel offers excellent value for the location - walk to both gondolas and everything in the Village, no need for a car. They have all the amenities that are important to us - comfortable bed, outdoor hot tub and pool, ski lockers, small kitchen, new laundry machines down the hall. (They have two buildings - the other one has an indoor hot tub, although we have never stayed on that side). The front desk and cleaning staff are friendly and attentive. As others have mentioned, the decor is dated, and in very cold weather the heat isn't adequate in some of the rooms, so maybe not for everybody, but we will definitely return!

This is an odd place. It has a very public housing projects aesthetic, but yet is inhabited by privileged families from Seattle with hordes of feral children. The type of folks who will pack 20 people into a room and cook the smelliest food imaginable on the 40-year-old electric range they stock the rooms with here. While their kids run up and down the hallways banging on things and screaming their lungs out. Think the set of New Jack City but with a much more insufferable cast of characters as guests. My biggest gripe - for $500 a night, you think maybe they could renovate this place more than once every 3 decades. Just an overall gross experience and definitely not an ideal place to stay unless being able to cook Hamburger Helper in your room is a big differentiator for you and yours.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a room but wouldn't return. Rooms are dated and dirty with stains on the carpets. Room door didn't shut properly and as a result we couldn't lock it. Good location for town but resented having to pay extra for parking.

Everything is close to this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating when a change needed to be made to our room. Definitely get a room in the newer building, as it is clearly in better shape, with better a/c.
