Booked a suite (Unit #312) in this Whistler Vacation Club unit through VI. Booked for the period Oct 9th to Oct 16th. My wife and I were staying 4 nights (9th to 12th) and our son and his family 3 nights (12th through 15th). When we left, we left food in the fridge for our son. When he got to... More

Creekside only 4 km from Whistler village is a great location, quieter but central to all the exciting activities that this area is famous for. The resort is generally very satisfactory and provides all the usual facilities, although we experienced one major disappointment - which was the room allocation overlooking a busy room, facing North. Consequently our balcony was never... More

Lake Placid Lodge is a great place to stay for s couple days on the slopes. The rooms are nice and cozy and the beds are quite comfortable. They have a place where you can store your snowboard/skis overnight and is not far from the Whistler Gondala.

There's the actual Whistler Village then you have the quieter Creekside, about 4 kms from the Village. The apartment we rented off booking.com was managed by Whistler Vacation Club. You had to go close to the Village to check in and then drive to Creekside to get to Lake Placid Lodge. Room came with a car park below the building... More

This was our first time staying at Lake Placid Lodge and we loved it. Creekside Village has everything that you need and has a more "local" slower paced feel to it than the Village. Suite was comfy, well stocked and the owners were great to deal with. Pool & hot tub is fantastic and we really enjoyed the option of... More

I was in room #117 last room in the hall way facing no views but private. We were staying here with our family after I completed the tough mudder challenge. The room above us was so loud we could hear them walking around all night till 4 am in the morning. The walls are so paper thin. You would think... More

Last year we stayed in a three bedroom townhouse condo (Valhalla) and this year at Lake Placid Lodge ... This is was an apartment condo ... little older, 2 bedroom and two full bathrooms for which we were so grateful ... both had bath/showers ... loved that... it was still beautiful and clean ... and I read other reviews that... When I looked up this property is was listed as hotel with loft. It was an older but nice one bedroom plus loft condo with a full kitchen. The condo was very clean and well kept. It was on the quiet side of Whistler and very close to the Creekside Gondola. The pool and spa were clean. Parking garage under... More

Everything else about LPL was great, so in fairness I must give it a high mark overall. But I am writing this one negative comment in hopes that the building ownership makes an important change. Visitors cannot use the ski storage because owners leave their skis year round, and they even leave the locks on empty slots so even those... More
