My wife and our year and a half year old recently stayed at the Westin and could not have been more happy with our stay, so much so that we booked an additional night! The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we had everything that was needed. This hotel and their staff go far beyond typical COVID-19 protocols. As a side note, we left a personal item behind and the Westin went out of their way to make sure that the item was returned back to us. We can't thank Andrew M and his team for going above and beyond for us from the moment we checked in! Thanks again, we are already looking forward to our next stay!

Loved the two bedroom suite- definitely a really nice location, and rooms are well kept. Stayed for a night- close to the village, and hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Coffee shops, food options and they were following all covid protocols Will be going back for sure.

Westin beds are heavenly. I just think it would have been nice to be warned that you may not even get to use the pool at all due to the covid restrictions. The sauna and steam room is also closed. You have to book only one time slot per day of one hour, and it can be fully booked. First world problems but you are paying first world prices you are not getting a 4star. Our cost 260$/night with parking. Save your self money, choose a hotel with no facilities and spend the rest of the money that you would have spent at the Westin, at the Scandinavia spa, where you can enjoy it allll day! I even called to ask if the pool was open, before making the choice to book. Someone could have said something...

Response from Andrew Misquitta, Guest Services / Front Office at The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler

Dear Saltyyogi, Thank you very much for taking the time to give us your valuable feedback. I am glad that you love the Westin Heavenly beds at all our properties. I apologize that you were not able to get a pool reservation on a very busy week. Due to the ongoing pandemic we are following all guidelines set by the Health Authorities which has restricted the amount of guest in the pool and fitness area. Once again I apologize that you were not able to get a pool reservation due to the restrictions.

My wife and I booked a 3 night getaway at The Westin, October 19. We have not visited Whistler in over 15 years. The Westin had some great rates, which included parking. I called a couple of nights ahead of our stay, to talk about my requests. As usual, the Customer Service was excellent, I spoke with Andrew and Grant. I met and spoke with Grant a few time during my stay. He is one of the managers with excellent Customer Service skills. Very helpful and approachable. Upon arrival, I was checked in by Andrew, different one than telephone Andrew. His Customer Service was excellent, as well, and aside from all the Covid nonsense, everything was very smooth. We had a great one bedroom suite, overlooking the village and mountains, with a nice large balcony. I also, spoke with Ann, a few days ahead of booking. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She pointed out the BC Resident rate, to me, which included the parking. We loved the location of this resort. Step out and you are in the village, very convenient for strolling around. Our first full day we followed the path to Rainbow Park on Alta Lake. A great walk about 3 hours return. We saw a couple of bears grazing on the golf course. Such beautiful animals, hard to believe that people senselessly slaughter them by hunting. We had breakfast each morning which in the bar, the restaurant was closed for some renovations. The breakfast selections were delicious. We especially, enjoyed the poached eggs on toast with avocado and a selection of fresh fruit. A shout out to Moya and Andrew (yes a 3rd one, but he is dubbed Andrew #1, at Concierge desk) . These individuals were superb, as well, with Customer Service. This is one thing I can always count on at a Marriott Bonvoy property, is the consistent Excellent Customer Service from all employees. I will definitely, come back to Whistler, sooner, this time, and stay at the Westin.

We checked in early to our one bedroom suite with a fabulous view of Whistler Village and the surrounding snow capped mountains. What a comfortable room with bedroom, living area, kitchenette and bathroom. Customer service was great during the pandemic. Very careful.
