I cannot speak more highly of the staff and the health and safely protocols in place at the Delta Whistler! I was here for a 3 week stay supporting a family member undergoing knee surgery. The two bedroom suite worked perfectly. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds, pillows and sheets are amazing! One bedroom had a view of Whistler the other a view of Blackcomb....how amazing to wake up to! We felt so safe the first week while the resort was open. The COVID protocols allowed guests to feel safe while enjoying the; gym, pool and hot tubs. The shutdown occurred during our stay and I cannot be more complimentary on how the staff handled the situation. Every single staff member that I dealt with; Rachel, Ben, Meagan, Matt, Eric and every member of the Housekeeping team were outstanding!! As a group they all could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Truly an exemplary team. Thank you Delta Whistler!! I look forward to returning when I can!

I stayed at the property on multiple occasions for extended stays. I have to say that our last stay was perfection. The hotel is really friendly and the Covid protocol in place feels really safe. We used the pool/ hot tube every day. We found it easy to book in the morning and had no problem gaining access throughout the day. Of course, guests must be organised to make this work. Pool attendant Mayann and Angie are working hard to make everyone happy. Mike D. was very kind to accommodate our request for a specific room we wanted. This is not always possible, but even with a last-minute change, he made it happened. The front desk staffs are always friendly and responsive. Nancy made our trip incredibly special. She is always there to help, and our boys adores her. She deserves some serious recognition from Delta Hotels for her outstanding Customer Service skills. Other locations in Whistler could use some tips from her!!! We ate at the Hy’s, Araxi, Il Caminetto…. Hy’s was our least favorite. We had some drinks at the workhouse and they really improved!!!

I don’t usually write long reviews but I had to share. We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Delta Whistler. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels across the world because my job requires extensive business travel, and I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The main reason being is that everything is well thought out in regard to guest experience, and convenience for those wanting to spend less time worrying and more time relaxing on their holiday. We will definitely be coming back! Check-in is quick, and though our room wasn’t ready, they had an alternative room to offer that I think ended up being in our favour. They gave us a very generous check out time when our flight was changed as well, even though I didn’t hold any status with Marriot until after my stay. The ski storage is hosted by a private company that is literally 1 step away from the check-in desk and elevators to your room. They open at 8 so on your ski day all you have to do is get in the elevator, go down a few floors, pick up your equipment and walk 10m to wait outside for the shuttle. We chose to walk to the gondola because we wanted a bit of a warm up before getting on the slopes - it’s a quick and pretty walk through the village!
The COVID protocols were excellent - masks within any public space (with signage everywhere), only one household per elevator, and sign up’s for both the gym and hot tub/pool. For the hot tub reservation I was afraid it would be annoying but if you call around 8:00-8:30 a.m. you should have no problem getting a spot for the same day, and you can reserve the gym the day before. We actually loved that you get the hot tub to yourself and a quick 1 minute call was worth it to be safe and have privacy. The suite has a full kitchen and if you are missing anything you just call the front desk (or send a message through the App if you have a Marriot Bonvoy membership) and they will bring it up to you. I actually feel bad for the amount of times I called down but the staff was extremely friendly and the service was so quick! I had no idea they have takeaway bags of coffee grounds for your coffee machine, but they brought it up to me bright and early one morning! What a pleasant surprise. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite for 6 nights with a panoramic view of Rainbow Mountain - what a beautiful view to wake up to! The suite is perfect for longer stays because it feels like an Airbnb with the cooking/apartment like feel, but you have hotel amenities at your disposal. Drinking my coffee on the balcony every morning overlooking the mountain range was so peaceful. I was working remotely for part of our stay and the wi-fi was perfect for video calls and live streaming. Finally, the bed was so comfortable, and the sheets were to die for. I need to find out what brand the sheets are so I can outfit my bed at home! Literally the only thing missing was slippers, which they said they are out of stock, probably due to COVID. 10/10 stay and will be 100% be returning and recommending to anyone I know who is going to Whistler.

This was the first time staying at the Delta in Whistler. We do a Whistler getaway 3-4 times a year and usually change up our hotel stays to try different ones out. I have to say that the Delta has by far been one of the best, if not the best, choice. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, especially Mike at the front desk. He let us do an early check in and a late check out the next day which is always super. Our room was nice, bed was comfy, had a little kitchenette and an extra sofa bed which we weren't expecting. We were happy that the hot tub and pool were still open. The hotel is in a great location. Everything was very clean, safe and sanitized. Will definitely be back!

We just came back from a visit to the hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is in a great location with all the amenities you need. But it was the staff who really made the visit. They were incredibly efficient and welcoming. A special shout-out to Matt, Rachel and Meghan, who were terrific. The next time we need a getaway, this hotel will be top of the list. Thanks!
