Travelers' Choice
Imagine you could stay in a boutique hotel but only pay for the part of it you actually use. At Pangea, that’s what we created – designer pod accommodation that’s affordable, central, and social. It’s a hub where guests can meet like-minded travelers, but still have their own personal space at the end of the day. Best of all, we put it right in the heart of Whistler’s iconic village.

A really good stay at this pod hotel. So clean, modern, quiet & comfortable. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the cocktail on arrival and the Eggs Benedict were so tasty! Not surprising for a pod hotel - as we have a lot of luggage we did find it a little cramped with both of us and all our belongings inside the pod. So we couldn’t have stayed for a long period - but it was perfect for a short stay. A perfect location and would recommend.

Great idea and vibe! The receptionist Carolina was very sweet and nice :) The place has a good restaurant and location is great! It is at the centre of Whistler village and that is a great advantage.

The staff was very friendly and it was an easy check in and check out. The wifi was fast and beds were comfy. I also found the room and shower to be clean. I really enjoyed my stay here and it was worth the money. I ordered breakfast too which was delicious!

I stayed two weeks and it was perfect, the staff was lovely, the place was clean and very comfortable. The design of the hotel is very cool in a perfect location in the village. Perfect place to come alone or with a group of friends and spend time in the mountains skiing or biking. Good atmosphere of young people and good vibes.

I came to Whistler for a week by myself looking for a job and accommodation and generally exploring whistler. The staff were so friendly, especially Carolina and Caoimhin, and welcoming I felt like one of the family. The pods are clean, fairly spacious and comfortable. Would reccomend to any people in my situation who wants to be in the heart of Whistler.

Amazing accommodation and staff, only issue we had was that the pods were extremely hot and the fans did not work well we were sweating and couldn’t sleep well because it was so hot, the bar was amazing and food was delicious

Hi Sophie and Scott, Thanks for staying with us for 2 nights, and for your comments. As a business that’s constantly trying to innovate and improve, we’re always hungry for guest feedback and constructive criticism, so thank you again for taking the time to write this down. We know the temperature in certain pods is an issue for some of our guests (usually when there’s double-occupancy), but we want you to know that we’re doing everything we can to rectify the cause and mitigate the effects (this was a design flaw by our mechanical engineers when we built the property, and it's been the bane of our existence ever since). We’ve already retrofitted an extremely sophisticated (read: expensive) fan system in all our mezzanine areas to drive the hot air down and out, and – just in the last few weeks – have had two separate HVAC contractors perform full site inspections and provide proposals on how to bring an additional 10 tons of cooling to the suites. This is a massive project that will cost well into the 6 figures, but we know it's critical and we fully intend to have it installed prior to the start of next summer. We know this doesn’t change the experience you just had, but your feedback helps us make these kinds of changes and improvements. Regardless of the above, we hope to see you back at Pangea in the future, and provide a flawless experience when we do! And if we’re fortunate enough to welcome you back, please don't forget to book direct (pangeapod.com/bookings) for the best rates guaranteed (if you ever see a better rate we'll beat it) and a complimentary drink at the bar. Warm regards and thanks again for being our guest, The Team at Pangea

Pangea Pod Hotels is in the perfect location and is great valued for money. I didn’t pay for any of the food or drink add on’s so I can’t rate that. But the pod is cool, cosy and creates a perfect hybrid sense of privacy in a shared space. If you’re looking for somewhere on the cheap (kinda impossible in Whistler!!) I’d deffo stay here :)

It was a clean comfortable stop on my end of summer Brewery, ciders and distillery tour of the Whistler area to Penticton. It had secured parking and a much appreciated complimentary drink with my online reservation. Thumbs up as usual!

Very interesting and fun experience. Hotel was super clean, guests were relatively quiet, and the amenities were very accessible - no waiting needed. Only thing is that they no longer have female-only pods - when I asked, they said that they got rid of them due to low demand, and that they have never had any issues between guests. Though I continued with my stay, it would be good for them to take down that feature from their website, as they are currently using something that no longer exists as a selling point, which is not very right.

Hi Karina, Thanks for staying with us for 2 nights, and for your comments. As a business that’s constantly trying to innovate and improve, we’re always hungry for guest feedback and constructive criticism, so thank you again for taking the time to write this down. Please understand we most definitely are not " using something that no longer exists as a selling point"! Our (original) female-only pods are no longer bookable online, and we're crystal clear with anyone who inquires about them that we aren't currently offering a female-only suite! The only reason we haven't updated our website is that we're still in our "trial" period and given there's a chance (albeit a very low chance) that we might reverse the decision to move away from a female-only suite, we decided to wait until that decision was final and set-in-stone before spending the time (and money) to make permanent changes to our website. We hope that makes sense?!
