A quiet location away from the heaviest tourist traffic, but still within walking distance of Victoria’s Inner Harbour makes Oswego the perfect place to stay. Suites make living easy. Contemporary architecture makes it feel sophisticated and serene.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this raving review about your experience, Staycationkindofgal! We are so fortunate to be in the perfect location, close to everything but still in a quiet residential area, as you so eloquently described. Being more of an apartment style hotel, certainly gives us an advantage in terms of feeling more like a home away from home. It was such a pleasure to host you throughout your time in Victoria and we hope to welcome you back for your next staycation!

We chose to return to the Oswego hotel for 18 nights while visiting our son who lives in Victoria. Being situated in a central location with guest parking for our hired car it's ideal. For such a long stay, eating out every day could be expensive so having a full kitchen and supermarkets nearby kept the cost down. A coin operated guest laundry was a must and I never had to wait, I only saw one other person in there. When we ate in the restaurant a few times we found the food and service excellent. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming and super helpful at all times. We would definitely recommend The Oswego to anyone visiting Victoria and will no doubt be back ourselves.

As repeat customers, we yet again had the perfect "home away from home" experience. The suite had pretty much everything we needed, the grocery store was nearby, and the location (close to the city core and equally close to the superb coastal walk) was perfect.

This is such a lovely little hotel tucked into a quiet area of James Bay where you can easily walk to the water or the downtown core. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. You have the option of using the underground secure parking (extra charge) but there's also plenty of street parking. The room was lovely, quiet and very clean. The bed is super comfy and honestly could have stayed lounging in bed longer which is unusual for me. The kitchenette had a keurig machine along with delicious coffee and little creamers in the fridge but you could also go downstairs where they serve wonderful coffee and breakfast. The bathroom has separate tub and shower which some people may like, and there's a little balcony which would be lovely in the summer.

Great location for walking around Victoria. We found many coffee shops to stop by mid afternoon for a nice break. BC Museum was disappointing in that about half of the display area is closed. Reconciling First Nations areas is an on going process. Our hotel staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. A nice quiet comfortable escape for a week.

The Oswego Hotel and Suites is in a prime James Bay location. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was fully and well equipped for a long term stay. We are in Victoria frequently to visit our elders and the Oswego is like having our own apartment. Just a few mentions: we live in a place that is very quiet and has no street lights. We found it a bit difficult to sleep as it was not as dark and quiet as we are used to. The bed linens were a bit rough and stiff. Cereal bowls the shallow variety. Suite a bit drafty when unusually cold in Victoria so you may want slippers. All in all. I have no complaints and am very happy with staying here again.
