Then only place I stay when in Victoria. The nightly/weekly rates are incredibly low considering what you get out of it: location, clean & nice room, friendly & efficient staff. Helm's Inn is located in the heart of everything, you can literally walk to everywhere: Fisherman's Wharf, Inner Harbour, the Parliament, Ogden Point, Royal B.C. Museum, etc. I LOVE this...

Our experience at the beautiful Helm's Inn all around, excellent! Victoria, B.C. great city to visit, explore and take in all the breathtaking, gorgeous views & moments. :) Travelled with my Mom from Alberta and shortly after our trip she peacefully passed away (cancer).

Prior to our move back to Victoria in 2013, Helm's Inn was always our home away from home. We used it as our base of operation -- close to town, the waterfront, Beacon Hill Park and any number of wonderful walks. We also spent hours in the BC Provincial Museum every visit, as we maintain annual membership. The full kitchen...

Helms Inn was more than I expected of this boutique hotel! It was an easy 15 min walk from the ferry and located within steps of the BC museum and IMAX. Initially, from the outside, I wondered what the inside was going to be like, but not to worry! From the pleasant desk clerks, to the warm fireplace in the...

Found a good price for the Inn. No elevator could be an issue for the 3rd floor or people with mobility issues. Property under renovations there was some noise from the other buildings. Ron was very clean and kitchen was a bonus but since I was only over nite, only used microwave for coffee. My room had view of park...

The Helm's Inn is a great hotel to stay at while visiting Victoria. It is very conveniently located a few blocks (walkable) from downtown Victoria, Beacon Hill Park is across the street and you'll have everything you need for a great stay. Everything is very clean and the kitchen is stocked with necessary items (not food). We recently stayed two...

Wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived. The hotel is undergoing major renovations. The building externally looks outdated and bland but inside tells a different story. Our room upon entry had a modern kitchen, table and chairs which sadly two had stains and the bedroom carped was slightly worn along with very slightly worn furniture. Having stated the negatives...

The Helms Inn is fabulously located - within walking distance of the clipper ferry dock, parliament buildings, Victoria museums, downtown, harbor. Not a luxury hotel but clean and comfortable and homey - and recently redone, so the charm has some spiffiness to it! Adequate parking, your own wifi router in the room - ours had a full kitchen, as well....

Quiet, VERY affordable, Super clean and modern furnishings with a small patio outside. Full Kitchen & table, "living room" was super comfortable as was the beds. I will definitely stay here all the time when in Victoria. The Imax and Museums, waterfront, parks, all short walking distance. 2 Thumbs up. Oh and very friendly staff.

We stayed for several days taking in the parks, walking the waterfront, visiting the museum taking in IMAX there all just a couple of blocks apart. The kitchenette was well stocked and easy to work in. Coffee and lounge at the enrty and convenient parking.
