There was actual feces on the towel hung up in the bathroom that I used to dry my hands. Told the front desk night and he couldn’t have cared less. I am so disgusted and I would never recommend this literal dump. Night auditer said it was unfortunate and offered no compensation.

Response from TTGeneralManager, Manager at Capital City Center Hotel
Responded Oct 17, 2018
We strongly disagree with your description of this incident. The circumstances and condition of the towel were quite different than you presented in your review. Before any front desk staff members offer refunds, through investigations are preformed to verify the accuracy of any guest complaint. In this case the guest brought a damp used hand towel with a small spot of what was clearly a tinted lotion/makeup and not as described. Our housekeeping system for check out’s make it almost impossible for what you described to happen. Linen is stripped from the rooms by one team, and re-stocked by a second team. This was verified by surveillance cameras showing the dirty linen being removed and several hours later another team carrying in a complete set that was used for re-stocking. On top of that, the housekeeper in charge of your room happens to be the most experienced, careful and professional among our housekeeping staff. We will let you draw your own conclusion....

Hotel is in a great location and a short walk from the Public Market, Chinatown, and even Victoria Downtown. Entrance on a side street which made finding the location and parking easy. Lobby was nice and unique, staff was friendly.

Room was basic but both clean and tidy. Our roo

The room was good, but an issue with a reservation has us thinking expedia was running the place , Expedia it seems is to blame for nearly anything not right, however in this case it was not Expedia but the manager did not care or even listen to what the problem was .

As strange as it may sound, i really have to mention that the mattress was the best comparing to other beds that we slept on in this 3 weeks trip, and considering my back pains . We stayed in this hotel for only one nigh, in our way to Tofino, using the fairy. The hotel is close

This hotel is my favourite in Victoria for many reasons. The friendly staff are the best, rooms are clean and inexpensive, free parking, free wifi, restaurant and lounge on site, Victoria's only outdoor pool and bar, bacon & eggs breakfast with coffee for $12 tax included, rooms

I have read some of the reviews & some of them say that parking is across the street? Don't they have a parking garage? My husband is handicapped, so he needs to be able to park in the garage.
teenytiny, The hotel has accessible parking beside the lobby, and general parking directly across a very quiet side street.

Am curious what are some good/inexpensive places to eat in downtown area?
We went to a lovely Irish pub called Irish Times Pub with great food, live music and reasonably priced. Just walking the streets you'll get a feel for where you want to go. Everything from that hotel was within 10 blocks. It's fun to walk and try different places that you couldn't normally eat at, at home. The parliament building has a wonderful breakfast and lunch that you can eat at & it wasn't at all expensive. When you're facing the main entrance to go on the tour, it's to your right and downstairs! The food was fantastic!!
