We found the RV grounds, the location, and the facilities to be perfect for our stay in the Victoria area. The individual sites, with concrete pads and picnic tables, made it easy to park and to hook up our 27’ motorhome. Washrooms, showers and laundry rooms were immaculate. The clubhouse loft area with balconies were an added bonus for socializing with friends. The location, right on the harbour, permitted easy access to downtown via the boardwalk and biking trail. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Location can be windy so use of awnings is not recommended.

A Very nice clean Area with great washrooms and Huge shower rooms. Staff was very helpful and location was great with great hiking trails nearby and access to Water Taxi to different location in the Inner harbor. The Only down fall for me was the lack of tree's which meant no shade at all.

This small RV resort is tucked away and overlooks the ocean beside West Bay Marina. From every spot there is a view with the float planes taking off and landing and the little ferries going back and forth. At night you have the city lights of Victoria and it is very close to restuarants, shopping and downtown which can be accessed by bike, walking or vehicle. You hear the church bells from downtown. The booking process was exceptionally easy and the staff helpful and friendly. The resort is very clean with security cameras all over the resort making us feel safe. We loved the senerity of this resort, so peaceful and very quiet.

We spent five months (October 2022 to April 2023) in this beautiful park that is small enough to feel like home, with a fantastic view of downtown Victoria, a waterfront walking trail that took us to the downtown and all a completely walkable lifestyle with everything we needed within minutes by bike or walking. Perfectly situated with the added convenience of adorable little water taxis to take us anywhere we would wish to go if we were too lazy to walk. The staff is incredible and accommodating. The clubhouse and facilities are gorgeous and the neighbouring marina and float houses made the neighbourhood fun and so interesting. We definitely plan to return!

This is a beautiful park but one of the most expensive on Vancouver Island. It used to be West Bay RV Park but closed, changed owners, underwent substantial changes & reopened as Salish Seas. We stayed here in Aug/2020 & enjoyed our stay but for a couple of things. They have removed the gated entrance & every night we were there we had some pretty sketchy cars driving through the park. Also, they used to have a few benches on the harbour front where you could sit & watch the harbour. These have been removed which means that if you can’t get or don’t want to pay the increased price for a harbour front site you have no access to the view. Again, it is a lovely park but for the cost I think a little more security & a little more access to the view would make it more worth the cost.

Thank you for your review and feedback, Diane. The safety of our guests is a priority, and although we no longer have a gated entrance, we have installed numerous security cameras throughout the park with no criminal activity to date.

Campground is very good, facilities are excellent, due to COVID 19 everybody has to adapt and they have done a good job to make people safe. The sites all have level concrete pads with full hook ups. Views on Ocean side pads are excellent, 10 mins from downtown by water taxi, 60 minutes walk via the sea wall. We have stayed here over several years even when it was run by Westbay Marina, always enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next trip.
Only one downside is the mess the Canada geese make around the park, I think the owners could do a better job of cleaning the mess up, still it will not put us off staying there in the future.

Thank you for your review of our resort. We have hired a company that uses border collies as a geese deterrent and it has been very effective. We no longer have any messes in the park. We hope you can return again soon!

Staying at Salish RV haven was our first experience in Victoria in our camper van. The park faces the harbor and is paved with slab sites - but surrounded by small green spaces. The bathrooms are pretty spotless and easily negotiable for showers. The only thing that my husband and I noticed that could be a safety hazard was the fact there is no graded access, but a rather abrupt step-over to enter and exit the areas. There was a half bath available in the 2nd floor gathering space, where this was not an issue. Overall the park was pleasant and close to downtown Victoria. The staff was friendly and the park was quiet in the evening. We would book here again.

We have stayed here several times . A month a couple of years ago. This was a quiet park right on the inner harbour most people stayed a few days. Now there are many rental company’s overnighters so a constant stream of in and out. We stayed a week still best location in Victoria.

I was making a reservation for another camping spot in BC and the man I spoke with highly recommended Salish. I immediately booked a night on our way back to the States. We had a terrific site right on the water. A glorious place to wash our clothes and a restful sleep. It was so quick to the Ferry in Victoria and back to Port Angeles. I highly recommend Salish. We have a Class B van and it was a real mix of RV’s. An Airstream trailer many Class A’s and some Class B’s. Great place we can’t wait to return.

Great place. We would definitely stay here again. One of the cleanest RV Parks we've been in. Well maintained. Unique views from this Park right on the Harbor. We had site 3, which is adjacent to a small bay. We saw more wildlife here - deer, raccoons, river otters(!), great blue herons, bald eagles - than we did anywhere else in our two week travels about Vancouver Island. Most sites are made private by the placement of the RV on one side and their living space on the other. Ours did not have this advantage, but the wildlife sightings made up for it. A small tree or bush between site 3 and 4 would be great. We stayed in June in a campervan. Front desk people were friendly and welcoming. Showers and laundry were exceptionally clean. The Songhees Walkway starts nearby and goes around the harbor almost to downtown.
