Every now and then, it's nice to splurge on an RV site. After several days of "off grid", I'm happy to pay for amenities like clean showers that DON'T require tokens, quarters or Loonies, clean grounds, modern power pedestals with 50A service, water, per site sanitation hook-ups, paved roads and pads. Salish Seaside RV Haven is one of the nicest RV parks we've stayed and given that our "little" Sportsmobile diesel Sprinter 4x4 was surrouned by million-dollar Class-A pushers, apparently those RVer's that ALWAYS overnight at high-dollar parks feel the same. Zero complaints, we look forward to a return visit annually!
Great facilities. Lovely friendly welcome. Perfect for a group of three campervans. There is a lovely sparklingly clean clubhouse with views over the harbour where we could all meet. Bathroom facilities large and spotless. Plenty of room around sites. We didn’t have a sea side spot which then would have made it perfect. It’s difficult to access the sea side without going through other sites.
Beautiful location, right on the bay, with great views of Victoria, the harbor and the occasion seal! Campsite is prestine, very neat and clean. Clubhouse amenities are great, including a large lounge area and two patios.
We have stayed here several times . A month a couple of years ago. This was a quiet park right on the inner harbour most people stayed a few days. Now there are many rental company’s overnighters so a constant stream of in and out. We stayed a week still best location in Victoria.
You are right in the heart of the city - just a ferry ride across the bay to downtown Victoria, he Empress l and China town. If you have bikes, it is a 15 minute ride to reach the Galloping Goose trail (great system of bike trails). The campground is small with limited space or foliage between sites but all of the sites facing the water have a fabulous view of bay and possibly the city lights. There is a club house that we were not able to to enter at the time. There are four very large, completely private washrooms with very clean and large showers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although it is very expensive for a campground, the amenities and location make it ideal for visiting Victoria.
Spent 3 wonderful days at this Resort. After trying to book in over the Summer, and no availability, we got in for October Thanksgiving. Absolutely stunning location. Well run park with incredible views of the harbour. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. We did alot of walking as well as taking the very convenient water taxi into town. Felt like a real Holiday! We can't wait to return
It is so close to everything down town and very easy access. my wife and I met some new friends that only live less than an hour from us on the mainland. Salish is a place that you will not forget for a very long time. Its run and maintained by some awesome people. keep up the excellent park.!!!
A Very nice clean Area with great washrooms and Huge shower rooms. Staff was very helpful and location was great with great hiking trails nearby and access to Water Taxi to different location in the Inner harbor. The Only down fall for me was the lack of tree's which meant no shade at all.
We just got home from a week at Salish Seaside RV Haven. What an an incredible RV site! It's located in Esquimalt, on Victoria Harbour waterfront at the end of the seawall walk that takes you from West Bay Marina in Esquimalt to downtown Victoria in about 5-10 minutes by car, 15-20 mins by bike or about 45 mins on foot. An extremely convenient location and the views are spectacular! The site itself is immaculate with large concrete RV pads surrounded by well-kept lawns. These sites easily handle 40' class As but we saw many truck/camper, van conversions and truck and trailer rigs. The power pedestals have 15, 30 and 50 amp outlets and sewer hookups. The fresh water is excellent quality with plenty of pressure. The quality and layout of the hookups are top-notch. The club house is a beautiful 2 storey building with bathrooms, showers and laundry on the ground floor - all sparkling clean. Upstairs is a bookable lounge (cost included in your site fee) with a kitchen, bathroom, dining table, sitting area, large flat-screen TV and decks with seating areas. This second floor is truly luxurious and is a great place to hang out, have a meal and enjoy the views. The staff are completely professional. Like a concierge at a high end hotel, every staff member we dealt with handled check-in and inquiries with efficiency and with the customer in mind. A notable incident occurred when we had to leave a day early for business. We were told that if our site could be filled for the night we weren't using, we would be refunded (an unusually customer-friendly policy). We left in the morning and found out via email around dinner time that our site had been filled and our card was refunded for the night we didn't use! Impressive honesty from a very well-run business. Needless to say, we look forward to our next trip to Salish Seaside RV Haven.…
Love this small well kept park Thinking of coming for the winter. Only thing missing is a pool Staff friendly and helpful picture view from our site A little pricey at $109/night Nice clubhouse Excellent wifi free
