Comfy rooms and beds, the kitchen units are large and spacious. A bit loud with the bus tour groups that came through in the evenings. Great proximity to all of the downtown things in Victoria. Great friendly staff. The staff at breakfast are friendly and personable but we stayed 3 days and not once was our order correct (just little...

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW

We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at this fine Victoria hotel. All of the staff, from the front desk, to room service, and the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and quiet, with a nice view of the harbour. We appreciated the free hot breakfast and underground parking, and the closeness to good restaurants on the...

My wife and I have really enjoyed our stay at the Huntingdon. It is wonderfully located in James Bay, within walking distance of downtown, the ocean, Beacon Hill Park. We booked a room with a kitchen, which is very adequate for light meals. We enjoy a good complimentary breakfast each day. The price is reasonable. Rooms are clean, and housekeeping...

This hotel has a faded elegance of a bygone era. Our room was spacious with a king size bed, sitting area, small table and chairs, kitchenette which included a stove, fridge, microwave, dishes and cutlery. Although the decor was basic and dated it's size and cleanliness made up for it. It was on the quiet side of the bay, two...

We had a great stay at Huntingdon Manor. It' s close proximity to the ocean and downtown are a huge plus. Breakfast is included which is also fantastic. And, we were able to bring our dog and stay in a pet room. We really enjoyed our stay.

Quiet riom with a courtyard view. A 5 min walk to parliament buildings! Such friendly front desk staff and daily housekeeping was beyond perfect! To the point of cutely arranging my boys stuffed animals on the bed. The boys loved coming back to see how they had been arranged. Bike lockup underground! Parking included! Breakfast! I will be back. Keep...

Friendly staff when you actually see somebody. Stayed Tuesday to Friday and rarely saw anybody who worked there. Front desk always empty, and you have to go across the street to have a drink. Our room was very rundown looking. From moisture in the windows to a bathroom door that wouldn't latch. A constant draft explained the space heater in...

The location is perfect and close to everything you need. It is on the quiet side of the area. The breakfast is the highlight of the stay. My kids loved it. The only drawback is the noisy air condition which disturbed my sleep.

Good price (government rate), good location. I found that the pillows were uncomfortable, but the bed was good. There was a background humming in the room (likely the air conditioner) which made sleep difficult.

Our stay started with a slight problem truthfully, on arrival & getting into our room, but was very quickly & smoothly rectified without delay or hesitation by the front desk person on duty. The move into another room was done with assistance from the two individuals on duty, for which we very grateful. From there on for our three nights,...
