Historic hotel, lots of history, very well kept. Great location close to the harbour. We rented three rooms and they were all great. Comfortable, clean. The staff are courteous. You will not be disappointed staying here. They have a restaurant with really good food. Leave your car, and walk to the harbour, shops, harbour ferries, Imax, museum etc. Everything so... More

I recently stayed in one of the suites which was more like a one bedroom apartment. It had a fully stocked kitchen, a living room/dining room, large bedroom, and full bath. It was nicely decorated and had lots of charm. It would be a great place to stay if you are planning on staying several days and want use of... More

Pleasant hotel 6 minutes' walk from the terminus of line 70 and 72 buses that go to Swartz Bay ferry terminal, 10 minutes' walk to downtown, 5 to Beacon Hill Park from whose tip you have nice views and a footpath along the water edge. Housed in a century-old building, meaning the floors are very uneven, with many doors having... More

Very good location, walking distance from the harbor and the heart of Victoria. We were at the Hotel on Canada day so the price were not too cheap but it is fair enough. The room was clean and very cute, a bit on a smaller side but had everything you need. The wifi was fast and I would definitely recommend... More

My wife and I booked this place on line and stayed during Canada Days. It was far enough from the bay to mute any noise. It is an older hotel which may not have elevators, but we like these older establishments. It reminded us of the small and older hotels we have stayed in while visiting London.

The inn has been open since 1912 and the building is in some ways representative of that old time transit with entry way and some common areas reminiscent of those golden years. The rooms now have private bathrooms and modern amenities and are quite comfortable. Our room had a wall for the bathroom splitting one of the windows, I am... More

Booked our room over the phone as the ferry was on its way to Victoria. The lady on the other end of the call was very pleasant and gave us cheaper price than what was posted on Expedia for a queen size room--mind you, our ETA was going to be around 10pm so they are probably just want to book... My friend and I stayed here for a night and recommend it highly. Decent bed. Lots of space. Handy to the city and restaurants. Couldn't ask for more for the price. The reception was warm and friendly and helpful.

We stayed here overnight while visiting Victoria in June. We stayed in a classic queen room which was very clean, spacious and well maintained. The inn as a whole is also very charming. It's located just a 10 minute stroll from the wharf and our corner room had views of the government building from our windows (loo with a view).... More

I recently stayed here for 2 nights during my stay in Victoria. I was traveling solo so chose an economical, single room. I planned to be in the room only to sleep and bathe and did not spend any leisure time there. Also, I did not visit the accompanying restaurant. The rooms were clean and tidy and the bathroom was...
