We stayed here for a week, 3rd floor at the Laurel wing. The views from our balcony are breathtaking. Their lobby is vibrant and welcoming. The restaurant has great food, although a little pricey. The location is about 15 min walk to the heart of the city. Will stay here again.
My husband and I were looking for a getaway in BC just to escape the daily stresses of life in our COVID-19 world. I was nervous about travelling because of the virus. The folks at the Inn at Laurel Point had everything dialled. Masks were worn by staff and most guests. The room was clean and there was a note on the door indicating that no one had been in the room for a good two weeks before us. We stayed in the spacious Erickson wing.I really enjoyed the huge soaker tub. We also had a large balcony with a beautiful view of the harbour. Our meals were wonderful. I tried things on the tasting menu for dinner that I had never had before. We had dinner there both nights because we wanted to sample more from the menu. As well, we appreciated the protocols they had set up in order to operate safely during the pandemic. Instead of the usual 24 tables, there were only nine. I don't know how they make money with only 9 tables but was so grateful for both their efforts and the amazing service. I highly recommended the seafood eggs Benedict for breakfast. Their lattes are soooo good! Forget the walk to Starbucks. Grab a coffee or a latte to go. The inn is well situated with regards to walking to main attractions. You can get there by walking along the sea wall. If you go in the other direction you will come across Fisherman's Wharf. Parking is very secure. There is also an EV charger for electric cars. We will definitely be coming back.…
Came over for a 5 day break - Laurel Point had a BC residents deal on, well worth it. The king room in the Erickson wing was spotless - requests for additional towels/shampoo etc promptly filled. We found all the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were a definite cut above the normal hotel fare - perfectly prepared and quickly served. We would definitely come back - it was just the relaxing break we were looking for -
I have stayed at the Laurel Point a few times and up until my last visit had stayed in the Ericson Wing is much newer than the Laurel Wing. Every area of the Inn is very well maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly and professional and have always demonstrated a genuine interest in our comfort and how we can enjoy Victoria. The main difference in my recent experience is my room in the Laurel Wing, it is very comfortable and well-appointed but it doesn’t not have the same details of the Ericson Wing with the main difference the size of the rooms, the glass balcony railing, and the outside lounging area. If your looking for a great stay in Victoria this is the place just be sure to check out the room before hand so you get the experience you want.
Stayed 2 nights at he Laurel Point, with our cat and dog. Cat Victors 1st hotel stay so we were mildly concerned but we had a lovely room overlooking the city and inner harbour. Victor had a great perch to watch the world go by which he loved. Staff were lovely and warm always giving us and the pets a warm greeting or pat....doggy treats at the front desk were also appreciated by Murphy. Location is great, grabbed take-out on our 1st night there to make sure the pets were comfortable, so an easy walk to Fishermans Wharf. We brought our bikes so nice bike room to keep them locked up in ....a card key lock and very visible easy to access when we wanted them. The pool was a bit warm but better than cool??
