This hotel was recommended to us by BC Ferries. We were more than pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable, large enough for Europeans (I'm not sure about American guests, though ...), the bathroom was spacious enough and the staff were friendly and pleasant. There are many little amenaties which make this hotel different, like a personal umbrella for the stay... More

Perfect place in a great location and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The rooms were small but very nice with heated floors in the bathroom. Great coffee shop and restaurant downstairs. Will definitely go back.

While the Fairmont Empress may get all the press and certainly has an impressive location, I can hardly imagine having a better experience than my family and I had at the Hotel Rialto. Our room was huge, clean and well-appointed; the staff very friendly and accommodating. At first, I thought the fact that we had to self-park our car in... More

We recently stayed at Hotel Rialto and we're certainly glad we picked it from the options we had on Clipper Vacation packages. Polite, helpful staff and beautiful rooms. Only a little walk from the harbor. Loved it!

After reading the reviews I decided to book a room at the Rialto. I was looking for something that wasn't too expensive (relative to the cost of the other hotels in Victoria) and was also nice. I was very glad I booked this hotel. We were welcomed with a smile as soon as we walked through the door. All personnel... More

This is a great hotel in a very good location in Victoria, within walking distance of the inner harbour and close to great restaurants. We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights, and the room and amenities met our expectations. The staff were very friendly. One of the staff was so accommodating as to kindly bring a bottle... Room was clean and nice size (King bed room, 2 adults). Bed extremely comfortable. Would stay again in a less busy season. Main area for improvement is check in experience. Desk staff are nice but the lobby is tiny, check in took forever, and somehow, whether because we booked through Expedia or some other reason, there were 4 important things... More

slow service so that by the food was served it was cold (How hard is it to serve that aren't cold when they arrive?) same for coffee. Indifferent service. also, hotel room was very small (too narrow). we felt cramped the whole time we were there. finally, one of 2 check-in staff was difficult to understand (strong accent)

I went to the Victoria Day Parade with some friends and stopped by the cafe in the Hotel Rialto for lunch. The staff were very friendly. The food tasted good, but the portions were small and the service was slow.

Loved this hotel!! We recently stayed 4 nights at Hotel Rialto and we had an excellent stay. The hotel itself is very clean with updated rooms (ours had a fridge, microwave and dishes) , quick, free wi-fi and very comfortable beds and pillows. I liked that the hotel offered a Go-green eco choice for its guests which allowed a $10 credit... More
