I made a reservation with the Swans Hotel in May for July 22 and about July 18 I called the hotel to see if we could get in our room early as we were going to a wedding that afternoon. I was horrified to hear they made a mistake and booked me for 2 nights in June. They charged my...

The location is on the corner of downtown making it a great and easy place to walk around Victoria or have a pub crawl from. The hotel is owned by the University of Victoria and has original art throughout. The brew pub has a wide variety and a four mini sleeve variety packs available for tastings. The hotel room we...

I have really good feelings and some not so great about this hotel. Pros: the rooms are really big Price was reasonable Good location Cons: Its just above a pub. Some rooms can be noisy on the weekends. Service was not great. Specially at night. When I checked in there was a girl that seemed more interested on keeping updated...

Discovered this place last September (2015) .Visiting relatives again now July 2016. Returned to the Swan for appetizers and beer. The Margerita Pizza is to die for! Also tried the beer battered prawns, new on the menu this year, very good! We loved this place. Traveled with family, 2 adults and 2 kids in one room, 2 adults and 1 kid in another down the hall. King suites with pull out sofa bed were perfect for us. Kitchenette was convenient, and the living room gave us nice space. Room was clean, location was perfect. Just a little loud with the windows...

Great hotel ! Stayed with another couple and their kids. Lots of room. Very clean. Ands beds were comfortable. Perfect location to walk everywhere. We had to pay 11 dollars a day for parking but we could come and go as we please. We would stay here again.

The hotel was conveniently located to the port area. Very clean and quaint . Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Victoria. The brew house food was extremely good and reasonably priced.

Their beer was decent - unabashedly English. But that quirky place turned into a night club the night I was there - and that really didn't compliment the English Alehouse vibe. But I like their spot - seems like a perfect lunch place.

Nice room, balcony doors open allowing fresh air into room. Brewpub downstairs is convenient for a beer and a snack. It's in a good area for shops and on the outskirts of Chinatown as well. I'd stay there again. Our room had a fridge and kitchenette, which is nice.
