Abigail's Hotel is a unique accommodation experience that blurs the lines between a small luxury hotel and a heritage bed-and-breakfast Inn. Abigail's is an adult-only, intimate 30-room property that is housed in a 1930's Tudor mansion. Its special atmosphere blends the romance and charm of the past with the comfort and convenience of modern accommodation. Located in romantic Victoria, British Columbia, Abigail's is quietly situated on the edge of the bustling downtown core and is three short blocks from Victoria's Inner Harbour, within walking distance of all the major downtown attractions and restaurants. Life is too short to be conventional, discover a splendour and charm that has been lost to the ages and uniquely exists at Abigail's.
This hotel was so quaint and homey - just so amazing! The beds were the most comfortable that I’ve stayed in on our trip. Our king room was very roomy. The service by all the staff was exceptional-they made you feel right at home. Breakfast is included and wow was it good. Choices of light including yogurt and granola, sweet including waffles or savory which included Eggs Benedict. And all included freshly baked goods as well. The location is good and close to the downtown harbor. The only thing I would point out is that this hotel is uphill from the harbor which can be a little tough if anyone has any trouble walking. But I would definitely stay here again! Great place!

My husband and I stayed at Abigails for three nights and could not be happier. The whole eperience was amazing. The breakfasts in the morning were wonderful, the staff friendly and helpful, the room was even better than the pictures which is never the case. Linens were fresh and clean, bed comfortable and fireplace was welcome in the cool evenings. We would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

This is a lovely place to stay. We stayed in the Abby Rose room which was so romantic and cozy- a large bathroom/tub, fireplace and king sized bed. Everything is clean, comfortable and extremely high quality. The breakfasts were SOOOO good - fresh fruit, pastry and an entree. It's within walking distance (6-8 blocks) of the waterfront and several nice restaurants. But beware - NO elevator. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s worth coming to Victoria just to spend a few days at Abigail’s. Convenient for walking to the harbor district, quiet neighborhood, wonderful breakfasts, pleasant staff. I would live there if I could.

Excellent staff and accommodation. Attention to detail was exceptional. The location is perfect for the harbour, buses and Beacon Hill Park. Cook Village close by too. Breakfast is so generous as well as afternoon tea.

Abigail’s is a short walk from the Victoria harbor, with all the fine restaurants, museums, shopping, and harbor attractions located there. The Abigail’s staff is most helpful. The breakfast has many choices, and everything we had was very good. The rooms and accommodations were excellent

Abigail staff, appointments, and comfort didn't miss a beat. As a man, I was initially put off by all of the "quaint" and the three floors I had to climb multiple times to get us settled in. But the more I studied the well-kept grounds, the architecture, the appointments, the cleanliness, and the efficiency of the Abigail, the more I came to appreciate that this was a special property with a caring, detail-oriented, friendly, and efficient staff. It was a quiet, well-appointed room. Everything seemed to work. In fact, it was odd that I didn't notice anything that was broken, dirty, or mismatched/out of place. Whoever designed the interiors of the rooms was an artist. And, as an aside, there were helpful and tasteful instructions placed around to room to help with the hot tub, air conditioner, fireplace, etc. operation that I thought were particularly good and not junky. So a quiet and very comfortable, restful night. The next morning, I awoke early, as usual. So early, I was down in the main area before most of the staff. I was delighted that the fancy coffee machine had already been readied with fresh cream, mugs, sweetener, etc. And, since the machine could make cappuccinos, and other fancier variations from my mundane home coffee, I enjoyed them all. Judy then came to expertly service the machine to keep it stocked with more fresh cream and condiments. Delightful to sit there, relax and just enjoy my many morning cups. Then, it came time for breakfast. My wife came down at our appointed time. Breakfast is served in another adjacent building. New, clean, and efficiently set up to handle serving a multi-course meal for the guests. The food was hot, delicious, home-made, and plenty of it. The staff made us feel like we could have whatever we wanted. Variations based on the general menu of the day. It was a great experience. I should also comment on the location. The Abigail is about a 15 minute walk from the Empress. It was close enough that we just left our car there and walked to most of the downtown attractions. Didn't have to worry about downtown driving or finding parking which was really nice. In short, the Abigail was superb. As a B&B, they perfectly met and then exceeded my expectations. My wife loved everything about it and I certainly appreciated how expertly and efficiently the staff ran the place. It was a great, restful stay. Most highly recommend.…

We celebrated our 40th anniversary at Abigail’s and we could not have made a better choice. The staff was amazing, the room was luxurious, we could have slept all day in that bed, and the breakfasts were worthy of a five-star restaurant !

My sisters and I stayed at Abigail's for 4 nights this May 2023. We enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel, the staff, and the location. The included breakfasts were good, too! The staff were excellent in helping us with our questions and suggesting places to go and restaurants to try during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel!!

This is a property that has a real old world charm, but also seems to have given much thought to addressing all the details that make a stay enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent and the menu varied each day. The menu even includes the days weather forecast. The location is within easy walking distance of the harbour and the old precincts, but still has good driving accessibilty. Overall a very well organised hotel which I can thoroughly recommend.
