We booked this hotel as a weekend getaway via BC Ferries vacations. The hotel looks very impressive, new on the outside, and is perfectly situated in downtown Victoria close to the BC Legislature and the Port Angeles ferry. You can walk to almost anywhere in downtown Victoria in less than 20 minutes. The hotel interior has a grandeur to it...

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review of your stay with us. I'm so glad to hear that we were able to upgrade you to a room with a lovely view of Victoria. The smoked salmon that is part of our breakfast buffet at The Pacific Restaurant is a favourite with our guests,...

Over twenty years ago my daughter and I stayed at this hotel when it was The Clarion. We had very special memories of that stay, so when we were planning a trip to celebrate her return to BC, we decided to create some new memories at the Hotel Grand Pacific. Because it was a special trip, we treated ourselves to...

Located on the inner harbour, the Hotel Grand Pacific is in a great location for visiting Victoria. I had the pleasure of staying here in October on a work trip. This was my second time staying at this hotel. The room was well appointed with a second vanity in addition to the bathroom. The hotel decor is very pink, and...

The Hotel web site says it is "Pet Friendly" and asks if we were "Travelling with Taffy or Rex or Rover?" We were travelling with Taffy (American Cocker Spaniel), who was made as welcome as we were. The hotel provided: Luxurious sleeps in a plush doggy-bed; Food and Water bowls for daily feeding; All natural organic doggie treats; Disposable doggie...

Hotel was nice, very courteous personnel. Furniture in rooms little dated, though good condition and adequate. Maybe a 4 star is well deserved. Didn't eat at here, so can't attest to that. Very good location- convenient to everything practically. Also, if arriving by ferry service this facility is virtually across the street.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely, newly renovated room. Beautiful location. Centrally located so major tourist attractions are easily accessible. For the business traveller, the hotel is quiet and the internet is very good. The Athletic Club, in particular the pool, is a definite asset to the hotel. Whether you're overlooking the harbour or you have a room with the city...

We stayed at this hotel with some friends for New Year's Eve. The hotel is very nice. The rooms were clean. We had requested an early checkin and our room was ready when we arrived at 10am. We had dinner in the restaurant. Being New Year's Eve the restaurant had a set menu. I want to thank the staff for...
