We stayed for 1 night in May. The rooms are very dirty, and dilapidated. The staff was unwelcoming. After showering my husband discovered that the towels are all full of long black hair — nobody even washed the towels. The toilet was shaky and not attached to the floor. There was lots of dirt, dust and debris under the bed, in the corners. The sheets were stained. The parking space is tights and inconvenient. The staff was cold and unwelcoming. They charge a security deposit of $150 when in fact the guests should be taking deposit from them in case you become sick after the stay. The location is just okay, nothing too exciting.

I read quite a few scary reviews about this hotel, so I had low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised! The room was nice & clean and the location is perfect if you like to walk around & explore

This place is a disgrace !I can’t believe they actually stole $250 off of my partners visa for cannabis smell .nothing was ever smoked in the room .I heave a medical condition of severe neuralgia .I live in Vancouver .my grandfather started Gastown in the 60’s.they treated us like guilty people and used a ridiculous cash grab like a corrupt police agency . I’m so disgusted .no reply from management . Complete discrimination and false accusations with no proof. During a bloody pandemic.we were going through a personal crises and had to stay in a hotel in our own city and this is what we got ! DO NOT STAY THERE EVER !!

I stayed 5 days out of my 7 pre-paid days. They had an issue with me booking and paying online. They refused to provide me a room of my choice areas and placed me in a no-view noisy elevator-beside room. I requested 2 extra folding luggage racks, [I use them for my work equipment and files], and they refused me by delaying them. The shower curtain was not fitted for the arched curtain rod and leaked badly until i duck taped it. The main entrance sliding door was out of order for the 5 days I was there so a rear door needed to be used. The main elevator door was broken for over a day. As it travelled it would smash and would not close or open properly. I had to force the door open as it stopped under the halfway point and a staff member watched. They still did not shut it down. The night they told me to leave, I simply complained about the continued noises of peoples in a few rooms. They allow extra guests by charging them $20 per visit. I asked them if this was Covid acceptable, they told me to leave. They did not refund me my remaining 2 paid nights, parking, and deposit. They are an apartment building faking Hotel. It used to be a Best Western just a few months ago.

We stayed here recently for 2 nights. "Hotel" is basic, comfortable bed, but the bathroom really needed some tlc. However water was always hot and pressure was good. 1st night was ok, second night was horrendous. For some reason we were put into a room with an interconnecting door - why I don't know. But on the 2nd night someone actually stayed in the room next door and well, they might as well have been in our room. Screaming, shouting and can hear every piece of conversation they were having. We didnt sleep a wink. We rang down to the "security" and a young girl came and knocked on their door they said it wasn't them and that was that. Then the noise continued. Only thing going for them is the central location of the suites, as they are in yaletown 5 minutes walk from the SkyTrain Station.
