We really loved our stay in this hotel. It is located in a quiet street but you can easily walk from there to waterfront and Stanley Park. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym is well equipped and open 24/24. There are some treats left everyday in the room. Would return without hesitation.

Hotel's Favorite
Can't say that enough good things about this hotel. It has set a high bar for any other hotel I stay at to measure up to. Pros: The room was really great; loved the large bathroom, big deep bathtub, and super comfy bed. The hotel location can't be beat: nice, quiet, upscale feeling neighbourhood but it's still super close to everything. We were downtown for a concert at BC Place and it was a very quick walk (maybe a block) from the hotel to the Burrard skytrain station which made getting across town quick and easy. When we got back to the room afterwards there were little cookies and chocolates waiting for us with a nice thank you note AND a pitcher of water with lemon and ice on the nightstand. The water was exactly what I needed at that moment so it was perfect. Cons: The only complaint is that check in is 3pm but our room wasn't ready until like 3:25pm. Normally it wouldn't have mattered but the concert started at 430pm and it would have been nice to have the extra time to get ready and relax before we headed out. That's kind of on me though, I should have called ahead and requested an early check in time so they knew we had plans early in the evening. The room we had was worth the wait though, it even had a partial ocean view. I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

From the moment I walked into the hotel, I knew I made the right choice to stay here for my trip. All of the interactions I had with staff was very positive. They staff were lovely and friendly. The room was great and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. Each night when I came back to the room, there were little treats waiting for me. I had breakfast at the restaurant attached to the hotel and it was delicious.

We really are delighted that we chose the Loden Hotel. We did visit a Fairmont Hotel while in Vancouver just opposite the cruise terminal and one other massive hotel and they were both reminiscent of packed out railway stations during rush hour… heaving with cruise ship passengers. Everything about this hotel was lovely, but what really makes it were all of the lovely ladies and gentlemen providing the warm and friendly service… from Irina the exceptional general manager, through to David, the most fantastic front desk manager and from them to the entire staff. They all feel like family, have the most wonderful, welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and as a result, guests have the feeling of being cosseted by the entire team. Every guest we came across looked happy, many were just walking around smiling. It is exceptionally rare to find this level of wonderful service. Every little detail is taken care of. For example, in some hotels, you will find an iron in the wardrobe. I have to admit to never having used one. However, in this hotel, they provide a steamer, far more useful (see photograph). You can also find a tiny plastic, square on a coathanger, this is actually a takeaway carrier bag which is also waterproof. Everything is high quality. The bedding (sheets, duvet) are of exceptional, high quality and lovely to retire in. Our bed/mattress was incredibly comfortable. Even the dressing robes of excellent quality. Hotel security was first class…the hotel is immaculately clean, front desk answer the telephone almost instantly every time and whatever is needed, be it extra towels, or a kettle turns up within two minutes. We asked for a small jug of fresh milk to make tea, two minutes later we had it. Even items such as the kettle or the hairdryer are designer, state of the art. Breakfast was very relaxed with a lovely breakfast, menu, freshly squeezed orange juice and exceptional tea and coffee. We were surprised to find that the hotel provide imported tea from Taylors of Harrogate, one of our favourites in the UK. The hotel have their own town car available for guests. See photo…it’s an original London black cab. Pictured in the photograph is front office manager, David Yu. Concierge suggestions from everyone on the front desk are brilliant. They sent us to the best Italian restaurant on our entire two week trip. I have reviewed this separately. We booked one restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel ourselves which is called botanist. That restaurant was the worst of our two week trip and I have also reviewed that and it is notable that this was not recommend to us by the hotel. A truly great boutique hotel and wonderful value.

I booked my stay at the Loden based on an article on the best places to stay in Vancouver. My boyfriend and I had planned this trip for 2022. Unfortunately, he became ill and passed away in Dec. I decided to make the trip alone - my first visit to Canada. The Loden is located on a quiet business street, away from the tourists and trendy shops. I loved the quiet location. My room was luxurious and very clean. I can't say enough good things about the staff. They are kind, knowledgeable and go out of their way to make their clients feel important. As an added bonus, the restaurant next door, Tableau, is outstanding. It's cozy, intimate, and the food is out of this world. My stay at Loden surpassed my expectations and I would absolutely stay at the Loden again if I return to Vancouver.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Loden. They went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. They were so thoughtful and really spoiled us with all of the little details. The staff was amazing and so attentive. It was so perfect that it is now the only place we want to stay when we come to Vancouver!

Started off with the two most helpful and kind front desk staff. After our cruise they offered to store our luggage and offered restaurant and touring suggestions. Our room was amazing, softest pillows and bed so comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I just wish we could have stayed longer. Hotel perfection.

The size; the location; and the exceptionally helpful and friendly staff made our first visit to Vancouver truly memorable. Can't wait to return to this gem! Additionally the Tableau restaurant, which is attached to the hotel, provided excellent food for breakfast and dinner. It is as popular with the locals as it is with Loden Hotel guests.
