Had no power besides the room light, front desk lady came to check it out and could only fix one outlet to work in my room, nothing else worked (tv, alarm clock etc) and the wifi wasn't working 98% of the time. I would never recommend this place to anyone, it was a disaster the entire time.

So many bedbugs, disgusting. Can't be recommended. Reception and manager was unfriendly and not willing to help. Will never go back as this place. All luggage had to be frozen for two days to prevent bedbugs in my home :-(

Stayed at this place for 2 nights. compare to this place Motel 6 feels like 5 star. so now you can imagine. Dirty sheets and towels. Staff very uncooperative. Parking space is so tight that if you open your car door the car next to you will damage for sure. only plus point is that its in downtown...thats all.

On the best street, it has everything from shops, bars, cafes, fast food, clubs. Street comes alive at night although that end of the street is a tad dodgier in the day. Great location, can walk everywhere. Nice staff, walking distance to train, bus and the main mall. Shared bathroom but very clean everywhere. No duvets on beds which I...

Vancouver is a beautiful town. But this hotel is a mess. The loudest hotel-room we ve ver been too. the standard was lower than in nearly every youth hostel. Considering that the room-rate is quite high, what you get is a bitter joke. Good advice: Avoid this hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in Vancouver and we thought it was great. Basic room but everything you could need for the price, and was right in the heart of Vancouver!!! Staff were fantastic, had a fridge and safe in the room, shared facilities were also great. Full access to a kitchen, and had no issues waiting for...

Last minute booking due to flight issues. Booked online through a third-party website, but when I got here they hadn't received my reservation or payment. Amenities - virtually none. There is a sink in the room but no personal bathroom. Rooms 201-224 share 4 unisex bathrooms: 2 have only toliets (no sink) and 2 are full bathrooms. The bathrooms were...

Needed a place to sleep. Was clean. Shared bathroom - had no conflicts. Geared to young travelers on a budget. No major issues. Staff was helpful. Some maintenance required, i.e. plumbing. Good location with allot of places to eat. Parking on street is difficult. Hotel has limited parking available.

This place was dirty, smelled and was unsafe. It also is a brothel. Do not stay here. The reviews on hotels.com were terribly misleading and the company was of no use in helping us defray the cost of getting a new room on a high demand summer weekend when nothing else was available (seriously). Will be using trip advisor or...

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
