The Auberge Vancouver Hotel, was a great choice. I gave the name and address to the taxi driver, who had no trouble finding it. We stayed 3 nights in a harbour view suite for a decent price. Our suite was well appointed and comfortable, and the view from the floor to ceiling windows was stunning. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. We had daily housekeeping service, which was not available at a lot of the other high-end hotels. We had a short, easy, downhill, 5 minute walk to Canada Place to check in for our cruise. The front desk clerk gave us lots of dining/breakfast options. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks for a great start to our post-covid vacation.
Stayed for 4 nights post cruise and couldn’t be more satisfied. Staff were friendly and very helpful even allowing an early check in and late checkout. Room was just what we wanted with a separate living room and nice view. Had food delivered from pub next door to our room which was good as the Auberge doesn’t have a restaurant. Great place directly across the road for breakfast and loads of nice places to eat within 5 mins walk for other meals. Bed was really comfortable and shower was good including nice shampoo, shower gel etc.
Our city view suite was wonderful - very big, comfortable bed and even had a side view of the inlet - saw a cruise ship coming in. The kitchen facilities were good but we only had coffees in the room, preferring to eat out. Easy walk downhill with cases to cruise terminal and also into Gastown and to Stanley Park. Must mention Breakka Bakery - 2 minutes walk away - and excellent for breakfasts - pastries and cakes are wonderful!
This was an amazing hotel and our room was simply breath taking. We were staying here for two nights prior to a cruise and had the most amazing views of the cruise port outside the window. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and had a great coffee machine! The location was really good and easy to walk to anywhere we wanted to go - including to catch our cruise ship - it literally took us less than five minutes. The staff were polite, helpful and got us checked in quickly and efficiently. There is an amazing bakery across the road that is open 24/7 and we enjoyed the food from there. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone - it is fabulous!
We absolutely loved this hotel. Had a little trouble finding it due to small signage, but were more than pleased when we arrived. Just a few blocks from the Skytrain. Had three rooms. Enjoyed the harbor and city view suites. Very clean and modern. Fresh carafe of water in the rooms. Superb staff. Bellhop assisted us in getting luggage to the port. Thought a family member had left some meds and when we called they went to the room right away to check for us. Would highly recommend.
I can not say enough great things about this hotel. We had a king size harbor view suite so there was a large living room, small kitchen space, separate bedroom and bathroom. It was like staying in a cool apartment. The hotel staff was also very helpful and accommodating.
We stayed here pre-cruise in May of 2019, this time was post-cruise. Very quick walk from Canada Place. Easy walk to Gastown (restaurants and bars). Vancouver is a big city so it's not the cleanest, and has it's share of homeless and crazies, but that was all a few blocks to the east towards Gastown; the area around the Auberge and Canada Place is very nice, and it's an easy walk along the seawall (past coffee shops and restaurants) to Stanley Park (we walked to the Aquarium, about 1.8 miles or 3km depending on your units). Close to the metro to the airport, which we used last time but this time we left too early and had to cab to the airport (around $35 Canadian). The hotel is a combination (hotel, residence, club) and the rooms are modern with all the trimmings (coffeepot, fridge, cable, stylish bathroom with boutique soaps/shampoos). Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Much nicer to stay close to the cruise terminal instead of out near the airport.…
Our family of 5 stayed at the Auberge Vancouver in 2 rooms before our cruise in September of 2022. WOW were we impressed! Lovely well decorated and appointed hotel room. We had a kitchen/dining room/ living room and a bedroom,, bathroom, plenty of closet space. And the Very best thing, an easy, couple block, downhill walk to the Canada Place piers, ships, shops. My husband and I are both over 75, so you know it was an easy walk even with our luggage. No need for a taxi. You can get one of the hotels on the pier for a LOT more money if you choose, but this is an excellent option. HIGHLY recommend this hotel.
My wife and I stayed 4 nights at the Auberge and could not have been more delighted with our hotel choice in Vancouver. From the moment we arrived to our departure, the staff could not have been more welcoming, helpful and always available to provide advice/assistance. Every morning when we left and at evening when we returned we were warmly greeted with a keen interest in our day. Carl on the front desk went above and beyond to ensure our restaurant choices were available, to provide directions and to make sure our room had everything we required. On one occasion we asked for fresh bathrobes and they arrived before we got to our room! The rooms are spacious and well equipped with a small kitchen area , fridge and excellent, complementary well stocked coffee machine along with daily fresh bottled water. Daily maid service was exemplary and the room was always cleaned to a high standard. The hotel is in an safe, excellent location right behind Canada Place. Don’t hesitate to book here for an excellent stay in Vancouver.…
We’ve had a great time at this hotel, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and clean and it is literally 1 block from the cruise terminal and free shuttle buses, it also has a good swimming pool. Not many lockers left in the changing room though
