Stayed 2 nights after Alaskan cruise. Great location, service and fitness center. Walkable to everything in Vancouver. Good British Pub on street level. Room was very spacious and clean. Nothing negative to say.
Amazing hotel in a great location. Staff so nice. Request a room with a 180 degree view of Vancouver and you will be rewarded. The staff even kept luggage after return from Alaska cruise for late night flight to allow me to see all of...More
The hotel was in a perfect location for pre-cruising in Vancouver. We easily walked our luggage onto the ship. The room was fairly spacious, nicely appointed, quiet and the front desk helpful. Breakfast was convenient.
I thought this boutique hotel was in a great location in order to explore all Vancouver has to offer. You can walk to Gastown, Chinatown and downtown restaurants, hop on the subway go to Richmond for the Asian Night Market or walk to the harbor...More
The only thing going for this hotel is it's position close to the waterfront. Our room was clean but had black mould around the window. Breakfast was truly awful so we went to Tim Horton's. The front desk staff were quite abrupt. If visiting Vancouver...More
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also
popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.

I wouldn't worry about setting anything up. It is an easy short walk from the hotel to Canada Place, so I'd suggest taking a stroll without your luggage the night before / earlier in the morning of your departure. Then you'll know if it's OK for you with your cases, or if it feels to much to do with luggage you can get a cab from Auberge reception when you need to go to the ship.
We found luggage drop-off & check-in all very slick (around 12:30), but US customs queues took ages - you will be offered a seat though if you need one, Princess & security staff were very good - cruise was excellent too, have a great time!
