The receptionist/attended was a sweetheart. I fell on stairs clumsily but she came to my aid almost instantly. The service here was great overall. I liked it. There is a parking fee so be prepared. The unit we stayed in had its own kitchen too. How exciting?! Located in the heart of downtown so it made touring a whole lot... More

On the plus side, we were given the kind of room we asked for (quieter part of hotel), and the hotel was relatively affordable. On the minus side, the room was pretty bare bones, with shabby furniture and towels, no plug for the sink or bathtub, etc. On the plus side, there was a kitchenette. On the minus side, I... More

Me and my husband stayed at Greenbries Hotel recently. We came from Whistler for a weekend. Usually we stayed at Landmark Hotel before, but this time decided to try something new and were pleasantly surprised! What bigger hotels will never bit is warm and attention from staff you experience when staying at boutique hotels. The staff were very genuine, interested... More

If give it 2.5/5. The good stuff... Greenbrier hotel is a three storey hotel along Robson street. The staff are very accommodating, courteous and friendly. They allowed me to check in early. The rooms are clean and the location is great. Lots of great restaurants nearby. The not so good stuff... There is no elevator, so if you are not... More

Conveniently located at the heart of Down town but some thing you don't know, they do charge a $200 deposit for your stay and yest they do actually charge your credit card and won't return your deposit for 5 days! Never had this experience before with a hotel.

I stayed in the hotel for over a week. The location is great. Unfortunately there is a THIEF among the staff. No response to my inquiry from the hotel either. I do not recommend it for your own safety. Plus the central heating is on NON STOP!!

I stayed there last May and the stay was a bit above average. When I checked in there was a 200 buck deposit that i wasn't aware of. I got it back of course but it was a bit unexpected. Rooms were clean but a little old and there was no AC. It wasn't super hot that time of year... More

I've been here several times. A small place with nice furnishing. I feel safe here. The room are comfortable and I liked the refrigerator. Nice to open the drapes and look outside, walk to places to eat and is really central to downtown.

Great value for Vancouver downtown. Friendly reception. Quiet and clean. Just off Robson street. Breakfast nook in hotel with complimentary coffee etc. Stanley Park and downtown are easily walkable from location. Parking available below ground for a fee.

The Location was great for walking around down town. Parking Garage was a bit small but secure. Hotel was clean. Staff was nice but suspicious of us. The in room water supplied was from walmart and so we accidentally confused a bottle with the stuff we had brought with us. They charged me $2 for the bottle. The room was... More

Staying in Robson Street

Neighborhood Profile
Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.
