It's in a good location close to stanley park, lots of restaurants, supermarket & public transport. Good price especially as Vancouver is a bit expensive generally. The staff are lovely. Interesting things to watch out for: * no lift, but that is stated in booking info * wifi leaves a lot to be desired * although the room has kitchenette... More

The location was very centralized and convenient for our transportation needs. The staff were very helpful. Our corner suite was very clean and well appointed, An elevator wold have made us more comfortable, but only one floor was not too bad for 2 old ladies. We wold stay there again.

Vancouver in the Summer is not a cheap place to visit and the Greenbrier offers the opportunity to be downtown affordably if you are willing to make a few sacrifices.Lets start with what you need to know: There is no elevator and our room was on the top (3rd) floor. It did not present any problems for us but it... More

On the positive, this hotel is well placed for the west end, on a vibrant street and within easy walking distance of many attractions. The hotel is clean, and the staff friendly. On the negative side, there is no aircon (which we knew) but this hotel really needs it. The WiFi is really bad with regular interruptions to the service... More

While the rooms DO have a kitchen ( the place is a former apartment building), that's about all it has. No elevator, no a/c and the cooking equipment consisted of a dirty frying pan and a saucepan from the drugstore down the street. No microwave, and the stove allows you to use the burners OR the oven, but not at... More

The location of this hotel was perfect. The hotel is an older building, has no elevator and does need a lot of repair. The room was spacious and the beds were fairly comfortable. There was a vent fan in the bathroom that was on the same switch as the light - so it was on all the time the light... More

We paid 1000 dollars for 3 days , Wi-Fi terrible, no intention of any kitchen accessories no parking, the TV has only a few working channels, staff is friendly but that is not enough after paying so much money...probably better book out of season...not worth more then 70 Dollar's

Just came home from a visit to Vancouver and the Greenbrier was a great place stay. There is nothing fancy about the hotel. It is older, but clean. We had a small kitchenette with stove and fridge and coffee maker. There are no elevators, but being that it's only 3 stories tall, it's not a problem as long as you... More

We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel since not sure of location or what to expect since small independent hotel. Arrived at hotel after midnight and staff available at desk for check in. Location great as located closer to Stanley Park than to commercial area of Robson. Many restaurants and shops available and great breakfast spot across... More

Just spent 5 nights at this property while attending a conference in Vancouver! Location is superb in a great neighborhood for shopping and 10-20 minute walk from everything else! Front desk staff were phenomenal and always cheerful. The lobby coffee was a great element. I did stay in an executive suite on the 3rd floor, while simple, it had everything... More

Staying in Robson Street

Neighborhood Profile
Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.
