The staff at Opus was extremely welcoming and were eager to make our stay the best they could. Our room was lovely, perfectly clean and big bathroom and one of the comfiest bed I’ve had the chance to sleep in. The location in Yaletown is great, we loved being able to walk to the Rogers arena, the shopping district and Granville island all within 20 min. They even offered us bubbles at the arrival, which was very appreciated after a big day of driving. We found the valet parking slightly on the expensive side (55$ a night), but maybe we are simply not used to city prices. They took good care of the car and our luggage and it was definitely worth paying since we didn’t think there were any very safe options for overnight parking closeby. Would definitely recommend!

The Opus is a beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location central to all the key sites of Vancouver. They have gorgeous rooms and the staff offers top notch service...so welcoming and helpful. Me along with a few friends were celebrating my birthday. The hotel went above and beyond in their service and making me feel truly special on my special day. Don't hesitate to book this hotel you won't be disappointed.

This was our second visit to OPUS. It’s not cheap, but we love this hotel.
Staff are excellent! Friendly and always wanting to look after guests. Our room was compact but very nice. We like how all the lights are on and the bathroom floor warming when we walk into the room - it feels welcoming and nice not to have to fumble around in the dark when you open the door.
The decor is very modern and cool. We enjoyed the 60-70’s soul tunes in the elevator and common spaces.
We had breakfast in the Capo restaurant and the food was excellent. Service in the restaurant and bar were top-notch.
The location is great with several restaurants right in the area.
We also appreciate how convenient this hotel is to the Skytrain. An easy ride in from YVR with the Yaletown underground stop just steps away.

Had a fantastic day at the opus Vancouver! The glass of rosé was a beautiful touch offered upon check in by the mature and professional Front Desk agents!
Perhaps a decal on the bathroom window windows just to remind guests that the windows are not one way down to the street.
The amenities are well suited to the brand, modern and fresh.
The turn down service of water in a glass decanter was great, especially because there was not plastic used!
Well done Opus!

We arrived at the Opus a day late and without 2 of our suitcases thanks to WestJet and the staff were super welcoming and helpful. They got us in a room as soon as we arrived and gave us the essential toiletries to help us while we didn’t have anything. For what was a very stressful start to our trip, the staff at the Opus made it much better.

Every member of staff was helpful, attentive, and had lots of tips about getting around the local area and places to eat.

The hotel itself is very nice, the bed in the room was very comfortable, shower was powerful and hot, the laundry service was perfect, and the pizza from room service is amazing.

The location is very convenient with Yaletown station across the road making commuting from the airport very easy. There are regular busses and you are a short walk from the harbour and water taxis for Granville island.

Overall my wife and I would highly recommend the Opus!

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff.
Outstanding, convenient location to walk to restaurants and events.
Stylish, clean rooms with special touches such as a glass of wine when you arrive, a fresh water pitcher with chocolates at bedtime, and the use of E-bikes for a trip around Stanley Park.
Look forward to our next visit!

The Opus hotel is in a fantastic location, in Yaletown, close to False Creek (and therefore easy access to water taxis, as well as the shoreline all the way up to Stanley Park. Staff at the hotel were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We booked the free use of the hotel’s e-bikes one morning and had the highlight of our trip - cycling through Stanley Park, and along the shoreline - lots of wide and easy cycle lanes. Lovely bakery for breakfasts right next door. Would thoroughly recommend.

The friendliest hotel in the world, probably. Certainly the friendliest we have stayed in. All the staff are so friendly & helpful, especially Amy & Scott, for us. The location is great, across the road from Yaletown-Roundhouse skytrain station, with easy access to the airport & waterfront. They even provide electric bike hire with an optional picnic, which is well worth it. Will certainly stay again when next in Vancouver. Don’t miss nipping down to eob for breakfast, (see separate review).

I've enjoyed the proximity of the hotel to a subway station, and the restaurants of Yaletown. It was fun to try a new type of restaurant everyday. For breakfast though besides the hotel's restaurant was good but a bit expensive and to have a good bacon and eggs in the morning, it was a good 12-15 minutes walks on Davies. Yaletown's restaurant center are more for dinner or lunch.
Room services and cleanliness where okay-ish. They went fast and did not always picked up the dirty towels in the shower (which is how they had indicated to proceed) and some dirt remained on the corridor's carpet for three days (more vacuum service please). But those are my only cons the rest was amazing and I slept well.
They do offer a rental bike service but I did not get a chance to try it. What really I've enjoyed the most was the ambiance in general. They have colorful walls and furnitures that made it super cozy and warm. It was a refreshing experience compared to the other big hotels around where it more traditional and severe in terms of look. And it's also a smaller hotel, making it less busy all the time.

We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Our room was comfortable with all its simplicity. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly at the front desk, in the lounge, as were the housekeeping staff. The gym is very well equipped. One suggestion, please put tea supplies in the room. (I appreciated how quickly they was brought to our room but nice not to have to call down for it.) I also appreciated that the fridge was pre-stocked with cream and milk instead of that white powder supplied by other, even high-end, hotels. A small but important detail!
