We just booked one night ended up not staying at all. We booked it online; avoiding to Drive back and forth to Surrey where we live, we had two parties to attend, first party at 5pm, checked in at 6pm. As we opened the door we were taken back by a strong foul damp smell of the carpet. It smelled...

Stayed one night on the second floor. Room was clean but nothing supplied except for soap and tp. The towels are extremely small and thin. Walking up the stairs to the room reeked like stale cigarette smoke. For the price I might stay again.

Had a terrible stay. Had to stay for two nights. First night I found ants in my bed sheets. Night manager didn't answer the phone. No services at all. In the morning they took my complaints defensively and blamed me for the ants. Moved me to another room, finally. Room smelled like something died there's recently. Left really early the...

Well, the motel is situated close to the poor part of the city. Not that poor is bad but when you see the strange people just a few blocks down especially closer to the train station and Hastings, you will know what I mean. The reception was abrupt and albeit unfriendly. the room we got was on the second floor....

No surprises but quite acceptable, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, beds comfortable. No in room coffee but available in the lobby, no fridge. No air conditioning but what do you expect for the price. Will stay here again rather than pay upwards of $400.00 elsewhere.

I have stayed in many cheap motels. I considered most, if not all of them to be fine. This was the worst motel I have ever been in. The chair, the bedspread and the rug in the room were obviously dirty. There were no towels and no shampoo. I had to walk up to a window at the office to...

Disappointing stay. Although well placed with bus and train services it provided little in the way of normal services. No fridge or tea/coffee facilities in the room. Security questionable. The bed however was very comfortable and the neighbourhood relatively quiet.

I recently stayed here with my two boys. The location is ideal. Located to major transit routes shopping and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and rooms were standard size and clean. The rates are very reasonable, especially if your on a budget. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the City Center Motor Hotel as a clean place...

Staying in Southeast False Creek

Neighborhood Profile
Southeast False Creek
Developed alongside the Vancouver Olympic Village for the 2010 Winter Games, a past fraught with hardship has recently been overcome, and builders are changing the landscape on the ground of Southeast False Creek at a rapid pace. With waterfront dining, ultra-modern facilities, sports stadiums, and a load of greenery, parks, and rest spots built into the ever-changing infrastructure, it's a fast-paced and mutable spot to see Vancouver taking shape and making history. It is especially popular for the casual sportsman, as the Seawall on the water makes for one of the most scenic locations for cycling or roller-blading, jogging or strolling.
