We stayed here for a week whilst visiting family. The hotel is only a short walk form the Yaletown skytrain that takes you on a 40 min journey to/from the airport. If you don't know Vancouver, Granville st has a few homeless people, there are less in this area. Once you have got used to the surrounding, take a left...

The rooms at this hotel are a bit small, but that is expected for downtown hotels. However, the hallways and lobby look dated and unappealing. There was no breakfast, pool, or exercise room. I would give it four stars if it were a 2-star hotel, but being that I bought this hotel on priceline on the basis of it being...

I booked 5 rooms here for a two night stay as my family came up from Seattle for a fun visit. Having a lot of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, I can definitely say that I am disappointed with the Ramada brand based on our stay here. Service: Front desk staff was mixed. We brought down our broken...

I paid 21$, gave them my carkeys, and yet my car was still stuck in the snow where i parked it upon arriving. It was never moved! Why dis i pay for parking/valet if my car was never reparked by valet?

I did not enjoy my stay at this particular location, Ramada Downtown Vancouver. Even with a slight discount promo, the size of the room and the service did not add up.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
