HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW

Considering that other hotels were close to double the price, this was a great choice. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a reasonable size and clean. Bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet, especially considering the location. A modernization was evidently performed recently and looks good. I'd change the showerhead and the elevator is tiny and...

I booked a room for 3 of my friends and I. This particular room was advertised as a deluxe double room with two double beds with a TV in the bedroom and TV in the sitting area with granite countertops in the bathrooms (implying that there would be more than one?). The advertisement was very misleading as what we received...

Ovrtall experience was ok. Manager was cocky and played around to much. She was not helpful when we were asking questions regarding the town. We were new to canada and she was not a great way to start trip.

I travel frequently and to all types of accommodations; hotels, hostels, homestays, and motels and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. There was a variety of smells as we walked a very old corridor to our room... none of them pleasant. The hallway was covered by old carpet that hadn't been vacuumed in a long...

I checked in on the 13th and went up to my room. The elevator was small and old and a hit on my nerves, but I though it can't be that bad.... it was. The hallways are dated and shining-esque the room was tiny (smaller than your average home bedroom 10x12 maybe. There was dried food on the chair... lovely....

Stayed here for just one night. As other reviewers have said it is a bit dated. The elevator is one scarey sounding beast lol but got you where you needed to be. Room was big and tastefully decorated. Bathroom was big. The bed was super comfy and good quality linens. No mini fridge but there was a safe. There were...

Dried blood in bathroom that did not get cleaned when we showed the hotel employee. Loud club under room, very noisy. Got moved to a room on a diifeeent floor, smelled like smoke, smaller bed and smaller room. Told front desk about everything, nothing was done.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
