We parked here for free and took bus to and from downtown every day. Bus stop is 1/2 block away. Hardwood floor in room, comfortable, and clean. Standard continental breakfast. A good value for visiting the city. One problem: Door lock with swipe card did not work smoothly.

The interior courtyard is beautiful and that's what sold me on the hotel. Too bad the beauty of the place is contained in that garden. The rooms are clean but you can tell that the hotel is not in the nicest part of the city - there are no luxuries attached to this hotel. The walls are thin, you can... More

After hours of looking for a hotel we booked one on line at Days Inn Metro. We even received a confirmation number . We arrived 10 min after booking the hotel room. when we arrived we were told there must have been some confusion and the 1 room available must have been booked at the same time I had booked... More

I am sorry for this situation but it does happen a couple of times each year. Online you have access to our, "last available room." Our Front Desk Staff member is renting it to a guest at the same time you are booking it online. I completely understand your frustration. Please give me a call personally the next time you... More

A typical suburban hotel, what made this stay special was the service from the manager when we arrived. Exceptionally polite and helpful, he made every effort to make sure our stay was pleasant. Other than that the hotel was comfortable, but costly for what it was.

It's not in the poshest area of Vancouver (not that I like the city), but it's well situated, close enough to everything I needed. Clean, well run, good service. The breakfast was pretty much what you expect for 'continental', but the fruit was very fresh, as were the breads.

Its a Days Inn so you know what it is going to be, its a budget place to stay but the location of this one was awful. Its a 30 minute bus ride to Vancouver center, there are no restaurants nearby or much to do. Probably great if you were visiting that area for a reason but if you are... More

I am sorry that our location did not work out so well for you. I usually here positive comments on public transportation to our location. Our owners chose to add the word Metro to our name so that our guests know that we are not in the heart of downtown. There of course is a Days Inn Vancouver Downtown. We... More

My family and I stayed at the Days Inn Vancouver Metro this past weekend so I thought I would share our experience while it was still fresh. THE GOOD: •The mini-fridge worked, as did the A/C. •The beds were decent. •Free parking. •The room (and bathroom) appeared to be clean. THE BAD: • Noise/Location. This was by far the loudest... This hotel isn't so nice. The toilet was broken, and we had to take off the lid of the back of the toilet to flush it as well as to stop it from continually running. Even then, I think the toilet was leaking because it would start running continuously. It was very noisy. It also wasn't the cleanest of bathrooms... More

Was very dissapointed. Room was small so is bathroom. Very noise we were in the bottom room hoping less noise but the foot steps. The working people very noisy so is quite annoying. Train station is not that close you need to walk quite a bit about 2.5k ... the area not my liking. I never been to vancouver before... More
