"Don't drink the water!" said the clerk at check in. A 100-year-old hotel with plumbing infrastructure still from that era. Advised me to use the pitcher in my room and the filtered water service available on another floor. Had not seen wood floors in hotel rooms since traveling in Europe...

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your review. I always drink tab water, the previous owners were from Africa and told me they always drank water form the creeks. But yes, we have filtered water for our guests. Happy weekend!

Location was important and was excellent. However, the rooms were very small, no screens in windows, loud air conditioners, and bathroom tile was dripping dirty water. I know one pays for location, but the cost of the rooms was very high for their condition. I understand you are renovating this hotel, but the cost now was too high for what...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. As all the ones were our guests are not satisfied, I have sent it to the ownership. Happy weekend!

The location is perfect near the Canada Place, restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is old but comfortable, all the staff were helpful and professional. The double room we had was pretty spacious. The prices are reasonable and all I needed for a one night stay. Definitely would recommend for the value.

This hotel is relatively cheap one night Can $255 and the other nights Can $319 plus tax ...so about £150 per night ... Which for Vancouver is cheap. It is in a great location assessible and within walking distance of a good many attractions, restaurants etc. We booked a double, which is what we got. The room had a double...

Even though I was only staying for one night, I didn't know what to expect from a Days Inn in Canada versus the Days Inns in the U.S. During check-in, I asked the hotel staff about it and she told me the Canadian standards are higher here than in the U.S. and U.S. properties are treated more like motels instead...

A very nice hotel with pretty good location in downtown, close to the sea and bars. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, king size bed very comfortable and a nice area for breakfast where I could eat some pancakes with maple syrup in a pleasant atmosphere

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your positive review. We have a handful of spacious rooms, lucky you got one. Our rooms as per all reviews are very small. Happy Day!

We had a great rate especially for the peak season (August for one night)! Our room was spacious and the location was perfect for us. I would stay there again if needed! You are really 5 minutes away from Canada Place or Pacific Centre and any tourist activities is by walking distance. Also they have this partnership with the pub...

The location of this hotel was great and the staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early and when we entered our room my eyes went straight to the big stain at the end of the bed and then to the ceiling where I noticed it was caused by the leaking sprinkler. I went to the...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
