Nice and clean. Good showers. Rooms are a little dated but beds and linen were good. Great friendly staff always willing to help. The hotel wasn't too busy when I stayed on Monday night. Just one siren through the night, but that's downtown anyways. Great location for transportation. And top notch boozers downstairs for watching the fitbaw. I'll be back!

The main thing this hotel has going for it is its location - it's a quick and pleasant walk to the convention centre. It is also, as far as I can tell, the cheapest option in this area. I like quirky older hotels, and this definitely falls into that category, but at times I felt the quirkiness was a little...

We were a party of three and booked two double rooms on the 7th floor. The rooms were comfortable enough although in serious need of wallpaper and heating system renewal. Two days into our stay the elevator broke and they never managed to fix it. The manager just sent each guest a letter apologizing for the inconveniences but didn't offer...

Good day 805mariaceciliaa, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the elevator outage, unfortunately as explained in the letter we had a flood which compromised the elevators safety mechanisms, in accordance with BC Safety Authority the elevator was shut down until all safety mechanisms have been repaired or replaced, it is not simply a matter of the...

It was old but clean. Really close to the convention centre and the expensive hotels. Great for me by myself but not for the kids. And now I type to satisfy the word count despite the fat I have said what I want to say.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
