One block away from the waterfront and in the downtown area, this was an inexpensive central location for a couple of nights. The slow solitary lift and the genuine period floor coverings make this a quaint experience. The room and bed were comfortable, quiet and clean, and the staff were all very helpful and professional. For us, it was perfect... More

First and last time here. When you walk in to Holloway on the way to your room you can faint of heat wave. No air condition there. Old carpets smell. The room is non logical. Two rooms with two beds. Armchairs facing beds and no TV. No air conditioning in one room only on another. Horror view on old rust.... More

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good too. Staff was helpful. Only thing I would recommend was improve on directions to get to parking, we were very confused and parked in the wrong lot! that attendant was very nice however and we sorted it all out.

We added a day in Vancouver after our cruise and the Days Inn was a perfect location. It is walking distance to Canada Place and the waterfront, with a wonderful staff that was helpful with suggestions, offering discounts to attractions, calling cabs, securing luggage, etc. Our room was actually a suite with 2 comfortable clean double beds in their own... We cruised from Vancouver to Alaska. We stayed a couple of days in Vancouver before our cruise. This was a great choice for us. It is 3 blocks to the cruise terminal. The rooms were a little small but they were clean and well furnished. The staff was more than helpful. They helped guide and advise us on pubs, restaurants,... More

Location is fabulous and a short walk from cruise ship terminal (several blocks), Sky Train to airport, waterfront walk & Robson Street shopping. There are a number of places to eat nearby. Yes the property is dated, carpet in halls worn (and even taped on 6th floor). However I found the room clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and... More

We stayed here only one night before our cruise. We had 2 rooms booked as we were travelling as 2 couples. One room was ready and had plenty of space on our arrival at 12pm..2 double beds... The second was ready when we got back from exploring Canada Place...which is just down the road ...that room was even bigger!!! 2... More

This Days Inn is not for everyone, it is for someone looking for a comfortable experience but without a steep budget. The rooms are small and the building is an older structure that looks to have been re-purposed and some room have a view of just an adjacent wall. But it is a very well-run establishment with an accommodating staff... More

Thank you very much Luke A for taking the time to provide your review of our hotel, the building is indeed older having opened originally as the Abbotsford Hotel in the early 1900's it has gone through many phases of modernization since. Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
