Stayed here with my family (2 adjacent rooms) for a couple of nights. Room are fairly large, you can make your own coffee or tea, even a microwave available. Nice hot tub on the topfloor plus rooftop terrace (bring your own drink). Very friendly staff, good location in downtown, we did most of it by walking Complementary breakfast is ok,...

Usually try to stay in Hamptons when ever possible as we have had really great stays with them in the past. As usually the staff was good, rooms were clean, and this one had a really nice view from the roof. The only reason I didn't give this hotel a higher rating was elevator wait times, inadequate seating numbers for...

Enjoyed our stay at the Downtown Hampton. The hotel had a nice location for exploring the city right across the street from the BC Stadium. The hotel staff was great & the hotel had lots of extras that enhanced our stay. Our favorite was the city bikes that could be borrowed for up to 3 hours. Vancouver is a very...

The positives are: 1) Well located hotel, near a stadium (which might be noisy on game night), and about 8 minute walk from the downtown core 2) Friendly staff - people here seem to be helpful 3) Large, well equipped rooms - microwave, stove, full fridge, dining area 4) Surprisingly well equipped fitness centre, which was a bit of a...

I stayed for a couple of days and everyone of the staff did great. Rooms are clean and new. Location is awesome, it does not get any better. The only part of the stay that was not convenient was the parking place, the doors hardly worked, and I had to open the door from the outside. Also, it is difficult...

Just finished a 5 night stay at this property and was very impressed. The location is very good, not exactly in the heart of downtown but only an easy 10-15 min. walk to major shopping and a further 10 min. to Canada Place. If it is the stadium you are going to, you are right across the road and the...

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for one night during a recent visit to Vancouver. It was very well situated and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We walked everywhere from the hotel during our stay here. The rooms were comfy and much enjoyed as two old friends got caught up and chatted the time away.

Had a great 2-night trip here this week- front desk staff was very friendly, especially Bing. Got a great Diamond upgrade to a suite, which was clean, spacious and well-stocked with a full kitchen. No real view on the 6th floor but you might have better luck higher up. Lots of dining/drinking options within easy walking distance. My only complaint...

Very nice property and friendly helpful staff! I enjoyed my stay there and would definitely return. The parking is a little tricky figuring out how to get into the deck and height limits are pretty short, so if you're driving an SUV that's high, be sure to make sure yours will fit before driving into the deck.

Vancouver isn't a cheap place to vacation, but this location and very competent and friendly staff make it worth it. You are on the primary shopping strip in the city and literally across from the stadium. Two blocks from a SkyTrain (public transit) station and just 4 blocks from the waterfront. Breakfast is included. This will save a family of...
