If you need a suite in Vancouver, you can't go wrong here. The price is definitely right. The suites are on the Spartan side, but that is because they mostly serve students as residences during the academic year. The kitchenettes are well-equipped, the bathrooms are clean and modern, and the location is quiet. The AC is on the noisy side,... More

These fully furnished apartments are for mature student housing in the school year, but in the summer they are rented out to travelers and conference attendees. Our suite was very well maintained and clean, much better than you would expect from a student residence. The kitchen was fully equipped (can opener, tea pot...) and our son said the fold-out bed... My boyfriend and I stayed here for the final 2 nights of our 2 week trip to Vancouver. We found it simple to find and easy to check in thanks to the very friendly and efficient front desk staff. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious and had everything you needed, from a coffee machine to a iron and ironing... More

I recently stayed at the Gage Residences with my two boys. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and professional staff. The lobby was large and inviting. The suites are ideal for families and all amenities are included, except parking which is very reasonable. The suites were very clean and modern. I highly recommend the Gage Residence as... More

Great residence in the heart of UBC. Friendly staff and amenities. Stayed for a conference and then some. With breakfast included it's a good deal. Fully equipped kitchen, to with cable, proper bath with blow dryer. No ac but you don't miss it in these temperatures. The windows are great open. Very walkable to bookstore, breakfast, shoppers etc plus buses... More

Basic accommodation with appropriate pricing. The place definitely has a student dorm feel to it and is quite a long way from downtown. Close to buses and beaches. Bed was comfortable but only a double For some reason we were woken up at 9.00am by housekeeping -not sure why Front desk staff was friendly Parking is limited

We stayed at this property in June of this year and were really happy with everything we got there! The apartment was really clean and nicely renovated, bathroom/kitchen excellently equipped and the service was great! The housekeeping staff were especially nice. The surroundings were amazing- very green and lush. The only thing I didn't like was the fact they charged for... More

We had a one-bedroom suite, complete with kitchen, and it did very nicely for my wife and myself as well as our son. The apartments are fairly basic, and some decoration would be welcome, pictures on the walls, for example. The rooms are quiet, however, and the price is right and much better than anything available downtown.

Pro: -Quiet location since it's inside UBC -New toilets and facuets, which is nice -dishes, pans, cups, and kettles are provided -beside the bus terminus -parking is $11.43 taxes included per day (cheaper than downtown parking) Con: -No AC -No in-room Wifi (this is the 21st century, come on!) -Lack of signage, so it's easy to lost -In addition, the...
