A very old house that was built in 1910. It is very clean and includes full breakfast. Located in Kitsilano close to the Museum of Vancouver, Kits beach, Granville Island. Walking to Stanley Park takes about 30 min.

This B&B is in desperate need of a new owner who will give it some TLC. The house reeks of something akin to stale urine. The acrid smell hits you as you open the front door but happily almost dissipated once I climbed the narrow stairway to my third floor attic room. The wallpaper in my attic room was peeling,... The host and hostess Kim & Patricia were very friendly and helpful. On the morning of our departure, Patricia helped us telephone for taxi and repeatedly called the taxi company to question the long delay. The location of the premises was great, being close to both the city and Kitsilano Beach, and very convenient to buses. Breakfast was good. Also... More

Basic accommodation, safetyregs need looking at,rotten rails on verandah that holds fire escape! Electrical plugs in multi points dangerous. I stayed in this B&B for 2 nights. The description and pictures of the rooms provided on its website are current and accurate. The Maple Beach B&B is among the trademark painted wooden houses surrounded with matured trees and beautiful exotic flowers, and is in great location within the Kitsilano neighborhood in Vancouver's West Side, along the south shore of... Hard to know where to start with this review. Firstly, the Internet blog is nothing like the real thing. As soon as we arrived we were asked to remove our shoes and a basket of used slippers were supplied to choose from. I do not like to wear other people's shoes and object strongly to being asked to do so... More

I classify this accommodation as a 'pensione'. The location of this establishment is in Kitsilano - very close to the city and in a good location of eateries and tourist sites especially Granville Island. The host was fantastic and would go out of her way to help in any way possible. The rooms were of adequate size annd were cleaned... More

Really kind and friendly hosts, delicious breakfast and cosy tidy room. The location of this B&B is fantastic as well, in the heart of kits, a stone's throw away from the beach. Fantastic food will surround you with easy connections in to downtown. A perfect, peaceful, place to rest up - highly recommended if that's what you're after.

A great place to stay close to buses to go down town and Granville Island which is definately a must to visit is only a fifteen minute walk away-our hosts Patricia and her husband were very friendly and helpful. We always stay in B&B's much better value than impersonal hotels. Thankyou for a very pleasant seven day stay in Vancouver.... More

Parking terrible, room smell old, if you have food allergy no breakfast for you, even though she would have GF breakfast! Really out dated, never bother with up grading the house, not welcoming feeling.

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighborhood Profile
Kitsilano
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
