Don't waste your time or money here. One nights stay here was 114$ and you don't even get your own bathroom they charge you another 34$ just to have your own bathroom. So you have to share a bathroom which are down the halls from your room. The rooms are very very small and the blankets are scratchy and not...

I came to Vancouver for a mixture of business and pleasure. I asked my friend in the area to recommend hotels. All the ones he suggested were outside my price range, but this one was in the right area. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, the comfort of the beds, the small but perfect breakfast, and the...

We loved the location as we could walk to FanExpo at the convention center, have safe parking, a quick breakfast each morning. We did have a TV and bathroom in our room but no power outlet for the CPAP machine nor Coffee/Tea set up. It was quite quaint and just right for our anniversary/FanExpo adventure.

The hotel is value priced and located centrally in Vancouver. Across the street is one of Vancouver's best Brunch restaurants that has a 2 hour wait. I opted for the included contenental breakfast at the hotel. It was simple and fast. I was allowed to get my own cold additions at the local grocery store to add some protien The...

We were staying one night in downtown Vancouver and wanted to be centrally located in a reasonably priced hotel - The Kingston was the perfect place. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying at The Kingston.

Room was very small and cramped. My Feet hung over the end of the bed. Our Room smelled from the deodorizer used in the bathrooms beside. Overall for the price paid... I would not stay there again... Be careful of the advertised "breakfast included"! Consisted of bagels, oranges, and corn flakes. Good location ... Close to everything.

Cute, nay quaint, hotel a couple of blocks from airport train stop. Friendly and helpful reception, thanks Sean. Best price, shared bath. No worries, plenty of options. Great pub attached - Innis and Gunn on tap, tasty, well priced pub food. Continental breakfast is a big plus. Would absolutely stay here again.

The Kingston can't be beat in terms of value for money in Vancouver - they completely exceeded our expectations. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Van City Skytrain stop in a great location for seeing the sights. Our room was basic and quaint - everything we needed to get a sleep and change. Breakfast is simple but super...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
