Would rank as one of the worst hotels Ive stayed in in 25 years of traveling. From the concierge guys who stood there while we struggled with 5 bags to horrible outdated rooms. Finally found why the room smelt damp, it was the leaking windows and pool of water on the carpet. Air-condition unit is in the room and makes... More

Stayed at this hotel years ago with my family and this time with my teenage son and friends who were attending a concert downtown Vancouver. Great location. Close to shopping and restaurants, all within walking distance. Underground parking available for $16/night. Suites are average but clean and tidy. All suites have kitchenettes and most have separate living rooms with sofabed.... More

Me and my Friend stayed at this Hotel for a few nights. The room that we stayed in definitely needs some updating. We got complementary breakfast; But we end up going to McDonald's across the street which offers "more variety"

Ideal location. Close to everything in downtown. We had 2 bedroom suite and fit us perfectly for 2 adults and 4 teens. Parking is about $16 per day. Stove top with bar fridge. No oven. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Clean and quiet. I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, on the recommendation of my daughter - an international travel consultant. This place ticked all the boxes - nice & tidy, centrally located, walking distance to several points of interest. We were lucky to get a room which had the view of the library, which is shaped like The... More

This is a condo-hotel. Good to have a kitchenette and separate BR but it is kitted out in a very spartan style. Its location is very good and I found all the staff to be excellent, especially the concierge fellows who were knowledgeable and in possession of that "can do" attitude that makes their profession what it should be.

Found this to be an excellent base for our stay in Vancouver. Easy walking distance of all major points of interest. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast a good bonus. Loads of places to eat nearby. When reading other reviews I was a bit concerned about the comments regarding the decor. I was pleasantly surprised, not ultra modern but fine... More

We stayed in Rosedale on Robson on our recent trip to Vancouver and found the hotel to be centrally located in Downtown Vancouver. It is a great location if you like walking around town as it is close to most attractions and shopping districts. The room had 2 double beds plus a separate lounge area with a pull out sofa-bed... This hotel is in a great location, it's nice and clean, the staff is friendly. The one problem? Terrible wifi... Like dial up connection slow. Very problematic when staying here for a business trip. I would easily give this hotel 4-5 stars for my needs if it weren't for this issue. I called front desk, they had an IT company... More

Thank you for your comments. With regard to the WiFi, we are in the process of upgrading the system through another provider which will bring us up to speed with fibre optics. This process has taken longer than expected as we do realize that we need to improve. Yours truly: Jim Miller, General Manager. More

I have stayed here twice in the past 6 months and can't get over the value for the price. True we got a "corporate" rate but still a good option. Walking distance to BC Place, Yaletown, down to the water taxi to get to Granville Island and the shopping mall downtown. OJ's pub in the bottom helps too. Every suite... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
