We stayed here for 3 nights right after the new years. Having never been to Vancouver, the location seemed perfect for us. Very easy to get to Gastown/ Granville Island/etc. The hotel had great parking/ very nice layout for the suite/ but we loved the bed and the pillows were fantastic and tried to look them up on line.Bottom line:...

This hotel is in an excellent location. Although it is reasonably priced, the hotel and the rooms are dated and in need of a makeover. The staff are very friendly and professional with special cudos to the front desk, the breakfast crew and my housekeeper Jigi who found my forgotten eye glasses. The staff will keep me coming back!

We were fortunate to find an economical hotel with a suite in downtown Vancouver in mid-Dec. The Rosedale is a slightly older hotel, but in a great location right off Robson St. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops and grabbed a taxi to get to Chinatown and Granville Island. The suite came equipped with a pull-out sofabed...

We found this hotel to be everything we needed ! Spacious with 2 seperate rooms. Enough space for a family of four. Was handy having Original Joes a restaurant /sports bar downstairs. Friendly, helpful staff! Second time here. If you want ice hockey tickets you can buy them at the concierge desk for 80 dollars per person 2nd row or...

Very busy and elevators cannot handle the capacity. We waited 15 minutes to get the elevator. We would have walked... but it was the 17th floor. You are better off getting a different hotel and getting a good deal on Canuck's tickets than using their package offering. Room wasn't ready in time. House cleaning walked in on us when we...

We wanted a night away in the city to do some Christmassy stuff. We wanted a nice hotel with a pool close to downtown. Check in and out service was the same gentleman. I wish I could remember his name because he was very nice. He wanted to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Maid on our floor (16th)...

My partner and I stayed here for a full week in November. This hotel has many things to offer. The location is evenly placed between Granville street at the nearby stadium skytrain station. You are also a couple blocks away from the Yaletown neighbourhood. We were very impressed by its amenities. The 20 m pool, hot tub, dry sauna and...

Thank you for your comments. With regard to the dining area, there used to be a dining table and chairs but they were removed to make more space in the suites. We do have them on request from housekeeping. We will review what is in our Guest Directory to make sure that we have mentioned this. Jim Miller General Manager

Clean, comfortable, conveniently located. The only area we found not to be satisfactory was the laundry facility - it wasn't very clean. The apartment was quiet and most comfortable. The location was good for walking,, for local transit transportation and for cabs. The reception area staff were most helpful when directions or assistance were requested.

The hotel is in a nice location for downtown and many attractions. However we found reception to be very ordinary on both occasions when we checked in. Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
