Very unhappy with my stay at this shabby hotel. Good location but deferred mtnce and no renovation in decades make this a poor choice. Water stained ceilings, outdated furnishings, rust stained lamp shades, marginal bathroom and carpeting you do not want to walk on barefoot. Good linens and a very hard working housekeeping staff made it just bearable. Rotating rooftop...

I stayed at this hotel for Christmas last year. It provides with a great view of whole vancouver from the restaurant at top floor which rotates slowly. we didnt have reservations for the restaurant, still the person in charge welcomed us, and even took time to show us around, and point to different landmarks which we could see. excellent service,...

My partner and I stayed here for 1 night and were very disappointed. First of all you can compensate a not so great room with great service however... The service here was terrible. When we checked in there were 2 reception staff and no customers, it took what seemed like too long to even acknowledge us. Staff did not smile...

We stayed here 9/5 though 9/8/13 before our cruise. We were on the 23rd floor. Great views, good service and nice size room. It is close to restaurants walking around downtown and one mile from Canada One.

Good stay before or after Alaska cruise. About 10 blocks west to the bustling city center and in area with many good ethnic restaurants with better prices. Also about 10 blocks to cruise port. The hotel is clean and in safe area with many foreign tourists and condo residents. Hop on hop off bus stop at the front and trolley...

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location (the cost isn't too shabby either) in downtown Vancouver. Cafes, pubs and shopping are all within walking distance. I was thrilled to find a WholeFoods market a few short blocks away. My room was adequate - nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about either. It was on the 36th floor, so...

Stayed here in early September. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location perfect for walking around downtown, Stanley Park and the waterfront. Room was spacious and very clean. Overall, a perfect stay in all respects

This Hotel was in a great location. We stayed here twice on our recent holiday. prior to our cruise and one night after our cruise. It was clean and the view was fantastic. But yes it is old and needs a revamp. Also found the rooms very noisy. Our first room had a towel in the fridge because the fridge...

Our view was outstanding in the upper story. Although plain and clean, this room served our purpose as an overnight stay before a cruise. Utilitarian with a great shower water pressure.Nothing fancy but we didn't care. Within walking distance to many dining choices. (Joe Forte was ours.)

The was a nice stop for 1 night after our cruise it was a place to get reorganized after 2 hours finding luggage and the line for a cab took forever. Set back and relax, was able to clean a few clothes.  Traveled with elder parents service was great, got to our room early. Thank god It would be better...
