Stayed here in early September. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location perfect for walking around downtown, Stanley Park and the waterfront. Room was spacious and very clean. Overall, a perfect stay in all respects

This Hotel was in a great location. We stayed here twice on our recent holiday. prior to our cruise and one night after our cruise. It was clean and the view was fantastic. But yes it is old and needs a revamp. Also found the rooms very noisy. Our first room had a towel in the fridge because the fridge... More

Our view was outstanding in the upper story. Although plain and clean, this room served our purpose as an overnight stay before a cruise. Utilitarian with a great shower water pressure.Nothing fancy but we didn't care. Within walking distance to many dining choices. (Joe Forte was ours.)

The was a nice stop for 1 night after our cruise it was a place to get reorganized after 2 hours finding luggage and the line for a cab took forever. Set back and relax, was able to clean a few clothes.  Traveled with elder parents service was great, got to our room early. Thank god It would be better... More

This hotel is in a great location right near the shopping area of downtown Vancouver and there were so many restaurants in the area! The room was average, though the balconies are right next/attached to the next room, so if your patio door was open, you could hear everything going on next door.

Okay, first the positives: located right on Robson St near Denman, you are right in the heart of Vancouver and walking distance to many attractions. Secondly, the price was excellent - I think we paid about $125/night, using the hotel's own website. And parking is reasonable. I don't remember the exact cost, but it was much less than the $35... Nice hotel. But the two biggest assets are the reasonable rates, and the incredible views, especially from the side facing English Bay. The revolving restaurant has a stunning view. The area (Rabson Street) is also quite nice for eating.

We were very impressed with the hotel. It has a fabulous location on Robson St which is the commercial central of downtown Vancouver. It is a close walk to Stanley Park which boasts the Seawall, Horse carriage tour, Aquarium (all must do activities while in Vancouver). It is also a short walk to Canada Place which is convenient for its... More

Staying in Robson Street

Neighborhood Profile
Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.
