excellent location on robson, close to denman str. and only 10 min walk to burrard and georgia. quiet, convenient to groceries and liquor store. a bit tired looking due to age and minimal updates to interior. overall value good.

We stayed for one night at the Empire Landmark in Vancouver. The hotel itself is a little bit older, but our room was clean and comfy. No breakfast is a minus, but there are plenty of places around the hotel to eat. The parking situation is questionable at best. It costs $15 to self park and you get sent to...

Very tired hotel, three iron burns on my carpet, 40 year old scratched dinged and marked furniture, no working A/C, wind howls in the ventilation system, awful bed. Only good thing is a great view. Staff were friendly, service was good. Not sure if the Revolving restaurant is part of the hotel are not, but the view is spectacular and...

While I did get the hotel room for about 50 dollars less than surrounding area hotels, the reasons become apparent as soon as you check in. I booked on a site that gave me the reduced price and told me to contact the hotel prior to check in to ensure I got the type of room I wanted (2 twins...

Stayed on the 38th floor. Gorgeous views day and night. The restaurant on the top floor rotates for dinner hours. The neighborhood is great, lots of restuarants and shopping. I believe all rooms have balconys.

I stayed at Empire Landmark Hotel on May 02, just for a night. I walked in to front desk to check the room's availability; it was very late (about 11:45pm). Maria at front desk checked us in very fast and amazing way; very professional, respectful, an excellent customer service experience. She gave us a really good room as well really...

The super outdated hotel has efficient and friendly staff. That were more then helpful when needed. The Hotel itself whilst out dated with its faded apricot décor had everything in a room that you would require, including free Wi-Fi. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable. They are not overly large but are good for a simple sleeping arrangement. All...

It's a perfect location if you're staying in Vancouver. There's just so much to eat, places to shop and walking distance to Skytrain and Stanley Park. The room is dated, but bed and pillow was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The person who greeted us late in the evening was a bit rude though. When we checked out the staff...

I spent several months planning my husband and my first visit to Canada and knew it just HAD to be Vancouver! But we needed a TALL hote to mop of the views, be close to everything and good secure parking. It has been awhile and I travel a lot, but think I paid about $75 US for a larger high...

I got my last minute reservation to this hotel through Groupon, an hour or so before checking in. For the price that I paid (about $90+ USD Groupon with tax PLUS $15.00 parking), it was acceptable. Location was good for walking to places., and really though, it was not worth driving anywhere in the vicinity between traffic and parking! The...

Staying in Robson Street

Neighborhood Profile
Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.
