OK so there are a lot of choices in Vancouver and we've stayed in a few but this is an excellent choice. As a starter, because Vancouver is in love with roadworks right now so I turned in after the entrance. The young lad parkin cars was super helpful in turning us around. Once we checked in we shared the...

Perfect location.....Centrally located in downtown with walking distance to grocery store, theatres, arena, shopping, English Bay.Rooms were very spacious and clean. The kitchenette had a store, fridge and microwave, so made for very convenient stay for eating in for breakfast , lunch and snacks.

This hotel is located in Vancouver town and is within walking distance of all amenities. Buses stop right outside the door. Hop on hop off as well. The rooms are well laid out with full kitchens attached. They have tea and coffee making facilities. Good restaurant for all meals. The hotel has 30 floors. We were on the 16th.

Very nice hotel. Downside was there was no body lotion ( moisturizer) in the room. Asked at the front desk and was told it was not supplied. First hotel we have stayed at , especially of this quality, which did not supply this staple amenity especially with air travel restrictions.

Great location and service. Front desk helpful and friendly. Rooms were in good shape and clean for an older building. Quick cab ride to the cruise ship and not expensive. Plenty of small stores and restaurants nearby.

Loved the view! Executive suite was large and came with a full kitchen. Close to stores (including a grocery store), sky train and hospital. Plumbing needs upgrading. No shuttle to and from the airport. All staff were friendly and helpful. I would book again.

Large room with all the amenities. Looking a bit old in a few areas but overall, a good deal with great views, a fine restaurant and ideal location. In my case, right beside the hospital where I underwent a procedure.

We Stayed at the Century Plaza for three nights. The hotel staff were warm and Friendly. Our room was on the 21st floor overlooking St Pauls Hospital. The room was huge which contained two Double beds, lounge, table and chairs and a full kitchen. Unfortunately the cupboard space consisted of only two deep drawers. Their was a small wardrobe for...

...and friendly staff! Plus a great vew--my room overlooks the English Bay wit mountains behind it. Room has microwave, fridge, coffee brewer, toaster. But with the reasonably priced snack shop (called 'beyond coffee') downstairs adjacent to the lobby, I didn't use these amenities.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
