The hotel is well located, has no parking, no elevator, no breakfast. The rooms all have a strange very uncomfortable smell, difficult to deal with. Room with a small fridge, flat screen TV, very small uncomfortable bathroom with shower only (no bathtub). Very small closet, no room for suitcases

We spent the first 4 days of or honeymoon here in the Barclay Hotel. First impression is that it is a basic hotel that offers great prices in a great area of Vancouver. it's based on a street that is buzzing with lots of shopping and good restaurants, and only 10 minute walk from Stanley Park. We didn't have a... More

Older hotel and very friendly staff plus a good size room. Close to everything. The staff at the front desk helped us to get in early. We had a 4th floor room and it was quiet. Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is well located on Robson St., it does not have parking (I had to park at a nearby hotel for 20 Canadian dollars per day). No Breakfast and no elevators, so I had to drag my luggage up to the first floor. The room was cramped and the bathroom too. No space to place two suitcases. Odd odour... More

This is an older no frills hotel located on Robson street. Not more than a bed small bathroom and little fridge. Excellent location near many Asian restaurants. We were overwhelmed by choices. A very good value for the price we paid. If needing more creature comforts I would look elsewhere. Nice staff and clean rooms we would come back. Not... More

We made a dreadful choice in choosing this hotel. For location, it is great - in the west end, in the entertainment area of the city... Brilliant. What lets this hotel down is the presentation and cleanliness. No elevator is not good for tourists with heavy bags. How would you feel after lugging 2 20kg suitcases up 3 floors? All... More

We had a very big room, appartment, with 2 kingsize beds. There was not a great view but the spacy, clean room made this good. Robsonstreet is near Stanlypark and is a good place to shop downtown. We took the hop-on bus for a nice city-tour, whiched stopped at front of the hote..

great location . safe neighborhood. clean but very basic. no coffee in room . no parking. everything else was good. very spacious room. ice maker not working. Zero luxury ! there is a spot to load and unload your car and you might get street parking for better price.

Good quiet location. But not a quiet room. Had a heard of elephants on the level above me & there is no soundproofing to the corridor with it's tiled floor. Room had a fridge, free Wi-Fi, cable TV & a couch which had seen better days. The shower was tiny with average water pressure. No lift in the building. The... More

Staying in Robson Street

Neighborhood Profile
Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.
