We stayed at a 2 bedroom apartment with the family, it was spacious and very good value for the money. IT's a few blocks away from the park and the shore, ideally located. Good friendly service overall. Don't look for luxury here but it's a great choice.

One of the best place to stay in Vancouver. Rooms are extremely clean, spacious and with all the comfort you would find in your home. It is perfectly placed in the middle of downtown and surrounded with dozens of shops and restaurants, anyway the hotel staff would help you to find anything you need. I love this place. It is...

This was an excellent hotel for our overnigh stay in Vancouver. Great value for the area, easy walk to restaurants and the waterfront. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the suite we had was very clean and well appointed. We had a corner suite with a small balcony. It was a very quiet place to stay. My only complaint...

There were four of us (two couples) and we stayed here twice. The first time we had a rear apartment, the second time it was at the front and was slightly noisier. We loved the apartment, two bedrooms, one with en suite, large lounge and a full kitchen, which was very well appointed. TV in both bedrooms as well as...

It was an awesome surprise to find such a great little apartment at the end of our long day's journey to Vancouver from the UK. Clean, spacious, well-equipped, great views, even the building work next door wasn't an inconvenience as it was fascinating to see the progress just in the couple of days we were there. Location is great, close...

What can I say, this place is great. It is in a great area of Vancouver within walking distance of many attractions and close to the Canada Line. As far as the hotel, we stayed on the 22nd floor overlooking English Bay, great views of the sunsets and the water. Our room was very good size, adequate kitchen, dining room,...

Centrally located, with access to all downtown shopping and a grocery store across the street. Stanley Park about 24 minute walk away. Essentially a one bedroom apartment, well appointed, comfortable, including a small work area. A fantastic value for downtown Vancouver. Parking available, albeit with access through a lane way in the back of the hotel that is a little...

Family of four, we stayed in a two bedroom suite for four nights. The suite was perfect for us, with two bathrooms, a small kitchen and a generous seating area. The location is ideal for seeing the sights - Robson Street is one block away, Canada Place is less then 10 mins walk, Stanley Park is 10-15 mins walk. Urban...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
