We stayed for two days and it was really ok, room was well equipped with kitchen and there was a large window and view over the city. The free breakfast was ok, but not really an experience or relaxing. Reception was friendly and helpful. Bed was not super comfy but ok.

Dear Bearsboy611, Thank you for your review, we are pleased you found our guestrooms well equipped and enjoyed the views. Breakfast can be really busy the last 45 minutes or so, for a more relaxing experience an earlier breakfast is recommended, however we realise this is not always possible. Nice property that is centrally located near downtown Vancouver. Nice views of the city and surrounding environment from the upper floors. Onsite restaurant serves pretty decent food at reasonable prices.

We've stayed here multiple times because it never fails to deliver. Clean rooms, great amenities, one of the best free breakfasts I've ever had. It's in a good location for walking to restaurants and shopping with excellent customer service. We loved it so much here we brought two other families with us this time and also introduced them to the...

We have stayed at many Marriott properties around the world and this residence inn is absolutely amazing! Great downtown location with what I call the best breakfast spread that I have ever enjoyed at any of the other properties! Extremely well done!

This property is centrally located and an easy hopping off point to downtown and other neighborhoods throughout the city. The room was spacious, clean, and the balcony was a nice touch. It's not a glamorous breakfast, but it has everything you need and it's included. Overall, great value and central location.

This is our second visit to this hotel. We stayed in a studio with two queen beds. I love staying here. It is clean, staff is professional and polite, it's close to Granville with lots of choices for food, and it has onsite secure parking. The kitchenette is great and convenient. They provide plates, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and stove. The...

The hotel itself is older, but fine overall. The service was fine. There's a kitchenette in the room along with a decent size fridge and freezer for extended stay. We could easily walk downtown. There's a Starbucks on the next block. Parking was only $14/night. We booked last minute for a long weekend and didn't want to pay more than...

Dear KLMTWolf, Thank you so much for your review, we are so pleased you enjoyed our wonderful location as well as the kitchens. You got a great deal! This hotel is located just a few blocks from the Hornby Street water taxi dock, and from there a short trip across the water to Granville Island. The hotel has basic kitchen utensils if you plan to eat in-room, which we did for dinners. This trip was specifically to enjoy the bounties of the Granville Market each dinner. The Market...

I am living here for more than 3 months from now and as a hotel, this place is really good, localization is great, furniture is new, decoration has a good taste and the breakfast is not the best one, but it's quite okay. However now that winter is going away, this "residence" starts to shows up its deficiency to handle...

Tied of the hustle and bustle of hotelling we decided to try the Residence. This will now be our go home whenever we return to Vancouver. Spacious and clean with all the services of a high end hotel. Comfy and Cozy. Deluxe complimentary breakfast was Awsome. Full kitchen in our suite. Great view and convenient location. Well done Marriott.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
