The neighbourhood is safe, directly across from the stadium. The cruise ship area is close enough to walk to, and transit is easy.

I had a large suitcase and I took the SkyTrain. YVR is a terminal stop, so you shouldn't have to worry about getting onto a train full of people. The cars are wide; I believe it was built for the Winter Olympics.

Yes, the YWCA has an on premise underground parking lot. The number of stalls is limited and when I make my hotel reservations I always request parking as well. The parking rates are a steal (I believe under $20 per day... More
