I stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel for four nights and was very impressed.
I had a lovely guestroom with premium amenities, bedding, and in-room features.
The staff was generous and helpful, even bringing a portable fridge to my room so I could keep bottles...More
This is a great hotel, opposite where the cruise ships pull in. It was my parents 60th wedding anniversary so we decided to go on that one big overseas trip and Canada was it. Our arrival into Vancouver was 7.30am. We got a taxi to...More

Wonderful hotel with excellent service. Everyone was extremely friendly. Conveniently connected to other major hotels on the waterfront with plenty of wonderful eateries near by. Great room sizes and extremely clean.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the Harbour, cruise ship departure etc. Does feel a little like the financial sector of Vancouver which is not a problem. The rooms were quite large with a much larger bathroom than Fairmont Empress. The bed...More

Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also
popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
I would beg to differ. Rather than an eyesore, the western red cedar cabin style ‘hut’ is emblematic of the west coast, Vancouver and The Waterfront in terms of materials, style and location across from the harbour. I was... More
I would beg to differ. Rather than an eyesore, the western red cedar cabin style ‘hut’ is emblematic of the west coast, Vancouver and The Waterfront in terms of materials, style and location across from the harbour. I was hoping that it was a new First Nations influenced gift shop, a place for the mascot dog, or storage for more BMW bicycles to better explore the beautiful city. If you’re interested in a more urban piece outside a Fairmont, try a block away at the Fairmont Pacific Rim with its Porsche Panamera parked in the water feature outside. Cheers.

I dont beleive they do, but the train goes there. Take Canada Line from airport, ride all the way to end of yhe line at Waterfront stop. Fairmont is half a block away. The Canada Line is fairly new, clean safe, very affordable and quicker than a taxi. Taxi to fairmont is about 45$. Train is $7 ish per person.
No uber in Vancouver.
