Really enjoyed my stay at the Pinnacle. Room was clean and spacious, service was excellent and great location. Suggest spending the extra $ for waterfront view. Pool was nice but indoor. Dinner was good 😊
We had the privileged to enjoy staying for two nights overlooking the amazing Vancouver harbour. The captivating views are the highlight of the stay and we'll definitely do it all over again. This was extra special for us as we celebrated the 7th birthday of our son.
Sleep was impossible during our stay as (1.) There was a movie being shot throughout the night by the hotel which filled the night with the sound of loud machinery and (2) the hotel's own housekeeping staff held a very noisy early morning demonstration to protest their wages. The hotel knew about the movie but said nothing beforehand and obviously their labout relations with their own staff are so bad that the staff feels the need to demonstrate.
Great location, just steps from the harbour. Food was great and well priced, staff were friendly and pleasant. Enjoyed the weekend entertainment (singer) and the atmosphere was great. Check in and check out were fast and easy, and the staff was very helpful with directions and some problem solving for us.
The hotel is in a great location and has great views, but the rooms are below average. They look old and are a bit oddly laid out. There was no fan in the bathroom, which was odd. Had to pay for a pet package, which was advertised to include a pet bed and dishes. When I called to ask for those to be brought to my room the person who answered had a lot of attitude and said those are not guaranteed it is based on availability. I understand this, but the advertisement when I booked said that is what the pet package included, making you think that is what you were paying for.
Paying for location only. No breakfast. Room had holes in bathroom walls. Robes seen better days and no shower caps, which we found in most of the cheaper hotels through out our travels in Canada. The Porter was great helping with baggage and taxis.
A wonderful, relaxing, comfortable time at a gorgeous hotel filled with staff that do everything they can to please you! Highly recommend staying there--great value for the money!!!! Located near everything--can walk to harbor & restaurants, convention center, port, etc.
The hotel is very tired and dated .Our room 1231 was pretty large and had a great view of the harbour..if it wasnt for the view and the location, I wouldnt have been so keen to stay though .Our room was dated and not even really clean. There was a few hairs in the bathroom and the entire room was dusty. The bed is not comfy at all and the pillows are horrible..The restaurant was bright and nice. The food was pretty good. The pool area is small and carpet through out and the hot tub very small ,we decided not to go in it just seemed cramped.Staff was friendly
We enjoyed the Pinnacle Hotel. Don't be confused that there is a another Pinnacle Hotel directly across the street by Marriott. We stayed at the harbor front pinnacle. The service was amazing the room was very large. And we had very friendly staff that was constantly helping us when we asked. Hey nice young man named Anthony went out of his way at the front desk to help us make photocopies and answer our questions. As well as tell us some really bad jokes that made us laugh. We also enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings and having some appetizers during happy hour. The prices weren't all that bad. And it was very convenient. The location of the hotel is about a 5-minute walk to the Waterfront all downhill. Of course that means it's all uphill back to the hotel. But it's not very steep. We were taking a cruise and many people just walked to the cruise terminal with their luggage. It would probably be a six or seven minute walk maybe 10. But we got a taxi for $5 and I say that's a great investment when you think about the number of bags we had. From this hotel you can catch the Hop On Hop off bus Which stops right in front of the hotel as a regular stop. We wrote it and despite the poor reviews he got we had an absolutely wonderful time. And I would do it again. There is a pool we never used but people were in it and there is an amazing workout room. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel it is very close to public transit and it is clean and very friendly.…
Nice hotel in the centre of Vancouver. Walking distance to Stanley Park and the main restaurant area. 30 minutes from the airport depending traffic. Maybe it is just above average in this price category, but I give it the benefit of the doubt. Nice rooms, great shower in the bath, which I never understand, but anyway. Very good bed too. High floors have less noise. Efficient check in, expensive parking, $ 35 per night, opposite to or under the hotel, but these days, anything in Canada is crazy expensive…. We did not have breakfast, nor used pool or other facilities, so cannot judge on it.
