We stayed at the Moda when we were in Vancouver for a concert. The place has a unique style and has opted to keep a lot of its charm instead of completely modernizing everything. The room was very spacious & quite comfortable, although the heating...More
We got a deal on Travelzoo which had all been great experiences. This time not as steller. There is no valet and you have to park your car across the street. In a snow storm with equipment, not super convient. We get to our room...More
The hotel was in a great location! The rooms were not as nice as advertised and very small! Rooms show that it is an older hotel. Nice and clean. Overpriced for the size and style. Would look somewhere else next time.
Nice little hotel, great location. Quaint rooms have all you require
Quick and friendly check in
Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful
We liked this hotel, might not have the largest rooms or newest furnishings but that adds to the character
I was in Vancouver for a few days before an Alaska cruise, great location to see the city, we could get over where from there - good bar, nice food. walking distance to lots of places. Comfortable room!
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy
social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
